Good Morning Everyone!
I am the posting queen today.I haven't posted in a while. Not near as much as I use to.Im catching up today.
Well, my mother in law had her surgery yesterday,(she had breast cancer)Things seem to be really well. The Dr said everything went great. They will find out more details in a couple of weeks when they get the results.I think she is happy to have it over with but yet it will take her a while to get use to the fact that part of her womenhood is gone.Must be hard. I would find it hard.
I am in search of a rotation today.I need to be on some sort of schedule.Of course I would LOVE to lose those last few lbs.I can't beleive I lost it during CHRISTMAS and then I gained it back again!Who loses weight during christmas? Am I the only one? I guess I should be running around like a chicken with its head cut off all the time.I am feeling a little blocky. My arms are muscluar but yet, I feel like I need to slim them out.Who am I kidding, I would like to slim down a little all over.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I think I am going to do S,J&P today.I was going to try getting back into working out before I eat in the morning.I don't know if that will make a big difference in fatloss,I have heard both sides.
Well, off I go.I hope everyone as a great day.I still feel like I am asleep.
Lori:)

Hi Lori (and everyone else who checks in today)!
I'm glad to hear your mother in law is doing ok. I hope she continues too as she starts the healing process.

Last night I went for a 3 mile run and ended with 200 walking lunges.
This morning I did Super Sets Upper Body Blast. I love, love, love the SS workouts.

For a rotation you can try this rotation Cathe suggested to someone who said they wanted to loose weight: (I bookmarked this when Cathe posted it).

1) Slow and Heavy weight training series for the first three weeks (along with your 5 or 6 weekly cardio workouts earlier or later in the day).

2) Pure Strength weight training series for the next three weeks (along with your 5 or 6 weekly cardio workouts earlier or later in the day).

3) Slow and Heavy again for the next three weeks (along with your 5 or 6 cardio workouts earlier or later in the day).

4) One week of Power Hour and Muscle Endurance (each done twice in the week) along with your 5 to 6 days of cardio.

5) One week of "Circuit Max", "Boot Camp", "Body Max", "Cardio and Weights", "Legs and Glutes", "Step, Jump, and Pump". Instead of doing weights later in the day this week, you will instead do IMAX 2 two days this week (on any day of your choice as long as it is not consecutive IMAX 2).

6) One week of CTX Series in its entirety. Two days this week (for your evening workout) you can do Supersets one day and Push Pull a few days later.

I hope this helps you decide on a rotation that will work for you.

Hi Lori! what a scary thing to have to go through with your mother in law, I'm glad things seem to be going well though.
Susan, thank you for bookmarking that roation, I was looking for it a while back and couldn't find it.
Well, yesterday I did manage to get in CTX Upper Body Split while my dh and son where at tee ball. I'm not sore today either, maybe I need to up my weights? Or amybe I am right where I shouldbe considering I was spent after that workout. My arms were shaking like mad!
Anyway, my puppy is doing well so far. He's still at the vets and will be until tomarrow. They had to remove two feet of his small intenstines! Dumb dog, LOL! I still can't believe that he ate three rocks of all things, rocks! That's a lab for you I guess. He also got neutered (sp?) while they were at it. I am going to visit him later on this morning before i pick up my son from preschool. We miss him a lot.
I am going to the Prince concert tomarrow night! I'm so excited! This will be the second time I've seen him and this time I've got good seats. I paid the price too though, let me tell you! But it'll be worth it, I'm sure.
Well, I'm thinking that today will be PLB, haven't done that one ina while. I'm really looking forward to it though. I like that workout.

Well, I hope that you all have a great day.

Kathy

Hi all,

Lori, I hope your mother-in-law is fine. I wish her well. As for that working out in the morning question, I've also heard both sides. Let me tell you my experience: it works (I'm talking about cardio here, first thing in the morning with hardly anything in your system) BUT it's not something I would do in the long term. I think I did 4-5 early morning cardio sessions per week for three weeks and I really leaned out. I also think keeping to a strict diet/ratio helped a lot. But you know what I've said about clean eating -- it gets old fast.

Susan, thanks for posting that rotation. I've been doing mostly weights these last few weeks and I'm growing a belly. It's the cardio I'm having difficulty finding time for. I can never (or almost never) give up my weights.:)

Kathy, I wish your doggie well. My goodness, rocks!:7 Two feet of small intestine!:7 Man, the things we go through for those we love. That Prince concert has been a hot ticket these days here in Dallas. I keep hearing about it on the radio.

Well, today I did finish MIS and PH chest and back. I lowered the weights I usually use for these segments because I just knew doing them back to back would kill me. I ended my workout with ME abs. I look forward to doing some cardio tomorrow.

Have a great day ladies,
Pinky
