Spring into Summer - 6/24

Good Morning everyone,

I had to get up early today to take my car in for a service call and am now at work trying to finish up some things before the summer vacation. I decided to get extra sleep since I'm still recovering from my cold rather than work out this morning. If I'm feeling up for it, maybe I'll work out this afternoon. If not, I'll make this my rest day for the week and start up again tomorrow. I've got to quit obsessing about working out 6-7 times a week. If it happens great, if it doesn't, no big deal. I'm not going to flab up over one missed workout.

I saw that you were logged on Sabine and didnt want to double post, so I waited for your post.

Last night I did Circuit Max then 500 walking lunges. This morning I did BC and ME premix. It's one of my favorites.

Tonight is girls night out, so I wont do anything but have lots of fun!;)

Hello ladies! Well, I am having a pretty good day, I must say. My dogs cone got to come off of his head. He can go up the stairs forwards now. He was going up backwards, yes butt first! And I am going ot be able to get all these bruises off of my legs now too, he kepts running into me full speed ahead. So, this is a very good thing!
Well, yesterday I did PP in the afternoon, after I went on my walk. I'm feeling reasonabely sore from that, because I really heavied up to challenge myself. So, this is also a good thing!
I ahve to get going here, but I thought I would quickly let everyone know I'm finally coming out of my slump, yay!

Hello All!

I want to thank you ladies for the birthday wishes- gosh, I just don't seem to get *excited* about it as I used to...;)

Well, I did SS yesterday as I wasn't up to BC but I just finished BC today as I got some good sleep last night. Dinner tonight will be some pasta al dente with homemade tomato sauce and a salad. I've been striving to put in more greens into my diet and I load up on fresh produce everytime I go to the market. I still allow myself a treat because if I don't I turn into a... well, you know what I mean and I wouldn't want to inflict that upon the world!}(

Sabine- I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I'm sending you some cyber *chicken soup* and a hug- take it easy and get well soon! And you work out hard so you deserve and need those rest days- they're just as necessary to our fitness goals as good eating and exercise (I know you know that...:)) Enjoy the wedding this weekend!

Cindee- I smiled when I read that you remembered our Multiplicity joke!:7 BTW, I'd like to tell you that I'm proud (as I'm sure everyone else on this board is as well) of you for your biking endeavor- it is not only a test of your physical fitness but also of your spirit and can-do attitude. We know you're going to achieve this goal with flying colors! Take care!

Elizabeth, is today your birthday? Have a great one! Hugs and kisses your way. Yes, I did read your posts about having more me time. It's still kinda hard... Right now I just want my kid to be 18 already so I can send him off to college.:)

Kathy, I'm glad to know your dog is up and about. Man, I still can't get over how much intestine he lost.:)

I wasn't able to check in yesterday but I did Bodymax, step and circuits only. I've forgotten how tough that workout is, even just the aerobics portion. Today I did PS-chest/back. I'm using heavier weights now -- 55 for presses, 20-lb. DBs for a set of flyes (I usually sub Cathe's set of DB presses for an extra set of flyes), 60 for BB rows and 20 all the way for one-armed DB rows. I didn't do any ab work and opted for a short 40-minute workout.
