Sports Bras

Ok ladies, I can't seem to find a sports bra (not that I've looked alll that hard) that has as good as support as some of my regular bra's! So for those of you who are a bit bustier like me, what do you recommend?????

Thanks!

Iris

Kohls has some great ones by champion. They were a bit pricey but well worth it. They very comfy and have underwire.

Love the Enell sports bra. Its expensive, but worth it. I have had mine for about 5 years and it is still going strong.

If you're really busty and need beyond what they sell in stores look at Elomi. (They're the updated version of Goddess.) I have their fitness bra (energise I think) and the thing is like a tank. Not pretty and it might be a bit high (both in the middle and the sides) for you but it works great for me. (I'm a 36H btw for reference). I do my cardio coach jogs with these and bounce is minimal.

Enell

I have had my Enells for roughly five years also and they are still in tip top shape. Of course I do not use woolite, only Forever New and they still look new. The girls stay in place, not minimal movement, absolutely NO movement. The downside is they are pricey but very worth it and there is nothing pretty about them but they do the job very well.

Booboo, good for you! I'm such a lazy slug, I just put them in a lingerie bag and toss them into the washing machine.

Don't know where you live

But Title 9 as lots of good sports bra's, and they rate them for activity. The Bay Area in CA actually has a few of their brick stores, but they also do a lot of internet sales. I really liked the Nike encapsulation bra's from a few years back. Everything depends on how big you are; I can't imagine being able to wear one of those cute little bra tops alone to walk the dog, much less exercise :(

Hey there Iris! Have you tried Fleet Feet over on Wolf Road? They have a good selection, and you can try on to see which fits best.

thank you! I don't put mine in a lingerie bag but I make sure they are hooked closed when going in the wash along with all my delicates and use the hand wash cycle in my front loading machine. I have bras that are going on 8 years and still in terrific shape. I don't ever use woolite (it is the worst despite their marketing claims) and I line dry!

Thanks for all the replies, ladies! I think I will look at the Enells and Natori and I'll definitely check out that store on Wolf Road! Thanks Cookie! lol I've never even heard of it.......do you know where on Wolf it is?

you could try an online site with a good return policy. i like www.herroom.com and www.barenecessities.com. on a # of occasions i have purchased 7-8 bras, including multiple sizes of the same. return anything that isnt perfect! herroom also has customer reviews and pictures of the bra from different angles, both super helpful. downsides to this is you have to make a large $$ purchase up front and then wait for your return credit and the slight PITA of returning the package.

ones i like:
i am also larger chested and was wearing moving comfort maia and champion shape underwire pre pregnancy. now i am a completely different size and shape (have been nursing for over a year) and the only one i can wear for a serious workout and be comfortable is champion double dry distance.

Iris, it is opposite Macaroni Grill. I think the name of the side street is Metro Drive; it's around the corner from the Marriott.
