You know on the recent doctor thread there was some discussion about choosing female doctors.... Well, just this past Friday I went to a new gynecologist, who is a woman. It turned out really well and I liked her, so that was all good.
Then today I walked into church and there was my new gynecologist just a couple rows ahead of me. I saw her after the service and we just sort of did one of those "hi how are you?" things in the crowd. I felt kind of embarrassed to meet my gyno outside of the office. Silly I know since I'm sure she's not going to say anything embarrassing in front of anyone else or anything like that. I just kept thinking about what she knows about me now....
Edited to add: I also kind of embarrassed my husband when I said to him "Hey, I think that's my new gynecologist!" and he shushed me. I said it very quietly, though.
