soy yougurt

hello, I have come to relieze that i am allergic to dairy which to me is a big source of my protein so i dont want to give it up. So i went looking for soy or something other then dairy and all i could find was either full of fat or sugar or both. Just wondering if anyone else eats an other then dairy yogurt that is somewhat healthy in terms of fat and sugar content. Thanks for your time. Michelle

Hi!

Wildwood Soy Yogurt is definitely low in sugar. What I do is portion a cup of the plain yogurt and add frozen berries the night before I plan to eat it. The berries melt overnight in the fridge and the next day (lunch time normally) they have given off a natural juice that sweetens the yogurt and I have a wonderful and healthy low sugar yogurt mixture!

Hope you like it!

Michelle, like Doria I buy the plain soy yogurt and add frozen berries. I don't wait for them to melt though. I like the texture of frozen berries (they soften up a bit in the yogurt) with creamy soy yogurt. YUM!
