I just had a flight and the pilot and I had a great conversation...just about chit chatty stuff, nothing important. Then I say "Im surprised I never seen you when you lived here". Then he says " I didn't see you either and beleive me I would remember" I could feel my face turning red so I had to look the other way. Then before he leaves he ask if I am ever in his neck of the woods. I tell him no but he leaves his card for me to look him up if I ever am.
Now...my wedding rings were on so its not as if I was hiding being married.
But sometimes its just nice to know that you are still appealing to the opposite sex. Being married 6 yrs, and 2 kids later, sometimes you have to wonder if you still have it...and its nice to know when someone thinks you do! hehehe

I know what you mean--I don't necessarily get hit on but I have those days when I go out and I know I am looking my best and I get that vibe from certain men that they notice me. They don't pursue that notice, but then I usually have a kid with me as well. I might be creeped out if I got much overt attention or wolf whistles (like I got sometimes in college) but I like at least getting that little vibe that I can still turn a head or two.

Lori--that is SO awesome! It's gotta be the best feeling!

My Mom, who is 54, 110 lbs, all muscle (she works out like a fiend!) and has had 7, yes SEVEN kids, loves to gloat when she comes back from running errands and once in a while she gets a whistle or a flirty comment from a man. It makes ya feel good!
