Can anyone tell me if Estradiol is plant-based?
Anyone know the generic name for Estrace, Ogen and Estratab?

Do you mean bio identical??

I was on it but now am on estratest - combo of estrogen and progesterone. I had a full hysterectomy. Feel much better on this. I got it from the compound pharmacy after I took a saliva test. Go to hystersisters.com and go to the hormone jungle. They can answer just about anything on this subject.

As I understand it, Estradiol is plant based and supposed to be bio-identical to the body's natural estrogen.

That's right, my endocrinologist says it's bio-identical. There is a BIG difference between Estradiol and Premarin. Premarin gave me horrible side effects. With Estradiol, I have no side effects and feel great!

I can't wait until I can get off these low dose birth control pills and move on to Estradiol!
