<---says recs for mammogram is 35yo for baseline, then every year after 40yo (unless close family member - ie mother, sister - has had breast CA, then it's mammograms every years starting at 10 years of age prior to relative's diagnosis)

<--says she is 28 too
<--turns 29 in December
<--tells Emily to be faithful with self exams and that if she does ever feel anything, let her GYN know asap
<--had an ultrasound first because those are much better for "younger" "dense" boobs
<--had to have the mammogram afterwards when something showed up on the ultrasound and they wanted better pictures
<--was a little shocked to find out that she had a cyst in her breast that she didn't even know about and hadn't felt. Dr. said that one was fine too, but it was an eye opener.
<--wishes there was some kind of mandated booby ultrasound test for ages 25-35
<--was told by all dr's she saw that people in that age bracket end up with breast cancer too
<--was also surprised to hear that 1 in like 118 cases of breast cancer patients are MEN
