Okay, I keep posting that I'm going to stop posting but I just keep posting--LMAO!
DH and I no longer exchange gifts. We're old fogeys now and pretty much buy whatever we want throughout the year and he rather generously indulges my antique habit. There's a big antique show here in January and I can't wait!

DH and I haven't bought each other anything in years either and we are also antique buffs. Our house is now totally furnished so we won't be adding anymore antique furnishings.
This year he bought a new used car in November and we called that his "Christmas" so I had him buy me a Coach purse and called that mine.

I have absolutely no idea what DH is getting me. I like it that way. He's getting a nice Movado watch - and he will be surprised as he is totally not expecting it. I did go shopping with my DD13 and she's getting me a nice cashmere sweater that was over 1/2 half off, so I'm happy about that, too.

We pretty much buy what we want during the year--we are truly blessed to be able to do that--so we don't make a huge deal out of Christmas. I'm a big reader so i know I'll be getting some books.....

I have no idea. My SO always spoils me and my sister is the best gift-giver ever, so I know I'll like whatever I get, but to be honest, there's nothing I want.
A new kitchen table and chairs, along with bar stools for the center island. Now that the kids are older and have finished abusing our old set, DH has agreed to replace it for something that will match our cabinets. We built our house 6 years ago and I've hated that old kitchen table since the day we moved in. It's dark oak, and we have light maple cabinets.

Like Michele, all year long I buy for myself whatever I want, but the one thing I'm getting for Christmas is the one thing I really want the most and the one thing that money can never buy:

I'm getting snowshoes!! My son gave it away on our walk yesterday. I said, "When I took Lucy (our dog) for a walk on the Hidden Lake trail we both sunk up to our knees." And he said, "You'll be able to go now!" I said, "Alex you gave it away. I'm getting snowshoes huh?" He said, "Don't tell Dad!"
So I did the happy dance. We have so much snow here this year and I can't go on my favourite routes. I know what workout I'm doing Christmas day!

Got my present early, a couple of weeks ago. Canon Digital SLR camera with a wide angle lense and a telephoto/zoom/macro lense. He gave it to me early so that perhaps I would know how to use it by Christmas and enjoy. There will also be the usual "private" exchange of gifts.

DH bought me a keyboard that I've been eyeing for quite some time. He told me he'd replace my old one when I got good. I'm not good yet. But I will be now! We really don't buy for each other b/c like others have said we are blessed enough to buy things if we want to. He knew I wanted it and just surprised me the other day.
My sister and I always donate to animal rescue organizations for each other. She donates to Badrap.org (a pit bull resuce organization) for me so I spent last night looking over their website choosing a dog - which didn't take long although I want to help them all. And I bawled my eyes out as always. There's a sweet girl on there named Chickie Sue who has been with them since July and can't find a home. Someone chopped her ears up so she doesn't look as pretty as some other dogs so they think that's hurting her chances. They said that months in confinment were wearing on her spirit so they are trying to move her around among some of the volunteers to lift her spirits. So cute. I'd take her if she got along with females. Does anyone here need someone to love????? She's desperate for a home.

I'm getting a weight rack. It was delivered by UPS on the front porch so I saw it. Dh just saw me type this and now he says he gonna send it back. LOL.

i got a brand new full suspension mountain bike! WOO HOO! AND a bunch of new accessories (i.e. new helmet, gloves, socks, jacket, oakleys, jerseys, etc!)

Let's see! For sure I kow my hubby and kids are getting me a Restauant style deep fryer, snow pants, wool socks, Name that tune game on dvd 80's, and I am praying for my boxing bag. My hubby is huge on Christmas we do not do anything all year. The girls will be 7 next year, and my son 3, I am hoping to save the Christmas money and go on a vacation (somewhere warm) I am hoping Cayman Islands again it will be 9 years since I had one I don't think I can wait until 10.
