Another visit of a workout that's been out a long time. I purchased it during the flash sale over Labor Day for $5. I don't have very many workouts from the Low Impact Series. Just this one and the two yoga workouts.
I was expecting something really intense with this workout, so I was pretty surprised at how light this actually felt. Now, I did forgo the weights this time doing it because I just did the double-it premix from Chiseled Upper Body from ICE yesterday, and tomorrow I'm going to do the LMR2 Total Body Metabolic Strength workout tomorrow, so wanted to allow all my muscles ample recovery time.
Anyway, this workout was nice, though I did skip some of the mountain-climber and traveling pushup moves because I just wasn't wanting extra work on my shoulders and chest (see note above about an upper body workout already the day before). I filled in by running up and down my stairs a few times during each of those segments to keep my heart rate up.
I imagine the intensity increases a bit when you use the suggested weights with it, and, of course actually do the mountain-climbers and traveling push-ups
That said, this workout was way gentler than I was expecting. Which was okay by me.
What I really enjoyed in this workout was the music - all the way through it was enjoyable - even the stretch.
This will definitely make its way into my future rotations.
