So Excited About My New DVD!

I just sold some videos on The Firm forum and saved up enough to buy the Cardio Hits DVD! I am so excited. I have never seen Power Max, Step Fit, or Step Works, but have heard great things! I can't wait to see what a 'flying angel' is! I also bought the S&H DVD. Would a good rotation be:
M-Power Max
T-S&H Bis and Tris
W-Step Fit
Th-S&H Chest and Back
F-Step Works
Sa-S&H Legs and Shoulders
Su-Rest

I know that I should probably do some other type of cardio besides step, but I hear that the S&H series should only be done for 3 weeks, so as soon as it's over, I'll go back to incorporating Hi/Lo and Kickbox too. Any suggestions would be great!?! Thanks!
 
Hi Jillybean. Congrats on your new purchases! Your rotation sounds like fun. I don't have any of those workouts but I definately want them. I would love to hear from you after your 3 weeks to find out how it went. I personally find that if I plan an intense rotation I can keep it up for 2-3 weeks then I have to take some extra rest days. As everyone here says you have to listen to your body. Good luck and have fun.

I have heard that youcan get overly tired with the S&H series, so I plan on listening to my body and taking it easy if need be. Thanks for your enthusiasm! I will let you know about my results! Hopefully I can clean up my eating so that all of my new muscles will be visable!
 
Congrats on the dvd's. I have all the workouts you mention on dvd. Those three step routines are VERY MUCH FUN. You will really like them all. Now keep selling that old stuff and get all the dvd's (if you haven't already)

IMHO, your rotation is good in that you give yourself a day off between the s&h weight routines. I tried doing them back to back and I thought it was too much. You are right that it is a lot of stepping. I'm thinking that your quads may get really worn out doing those three step routines plus the s&h legs in one week. I would have to substitute a hi/lo for the Friday workout. But, try it for a week. You may have stronger legs than I. The one thing im sure if is that your week(s) will be fun.
