Neighbor called the police on us and now I have to get rid of all my dogs and can't park our own car on our own property!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been crying for over an hour and can't stop. I have to sell everything!!!! and having our car parked on our property because it is against city regulations and makes the city look like crap which is a farm town anyway!!!

I don't get it:-( You have to sell everything b/c your car was parked on the side of the road? What do you mean by everything? And what does this have to do with your dogs? I am just trying to understand.We don't have laws like that here,Thank God!
In the meantime,I feel really bad for you! Wish there was something I could do!

Someone complained about my dogs and our car! so they say I have a month to get rid of the dogs or they will come and kill them!!!!! then if we don't move our car we get fined but if we park on the road we fined also!! I am hating everything right now!!!

Wow I am absolutely shocked that you have been told to get rid of your dogs else they will be put down. Surely that is not legal. I have never ever heard of this happening in Britain and I am appalled that anyone on this earth would even think about making such an abhorrent demand.

If I were you, I would take legal advice NOW and then look for another place to live. I can not believe it is legal to insist you get rid of your dogs. Why don't you get in touch with your local paper, TV station or local radio? Shame your neighbours (assuming it was a neighbour who made the complaint) and the rest of the city into thinking beyond themselves. I don't know about you but I will not live in a place where animals are not treated as we would like to be treated ourselves.

Sorry about what is happening. Maybe after things cool down they won't be so bad.

I live in Utah like you. A different city. We are only suppose to have 2 dogs per household. Do you have more than that? I don't understand the car situation.

What was the complaint against your dogs? Are they considered dangerous? If so, the police can't just come back in a month and kill the dogs. I would call the police station and talk to someone about policy because this sounds like bull to me.
