Snow pics!

WOW, Shelley! You'll kick my @ss if I take pics of what's outside my house right now! LOL Granted, there's a ton of ice under the little bit of accumulated snow so it's dangerous but it looks like nothin' compared to what you got hit with! Happy shoveling! Thank goodness you enjoy it! :7

BBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRR ... man that is a LOT of snow!!!! Bless your heart!!!

What's in the bag Shelly?????

Oh I can relate! Last yr there were building in the middle of town taht you couldn't even see b/c they were covered with snow! It hasn't been to bad this yr but your storm is headed this way tomorrow so I guess its a p.j day tomorrow.
Lori:)

Lori - most of what we got was lake effect snow, so you might not get nearly as much. Nobody around us got nearly as much as we did! Good luck.:)

<<Laura - a movie >>

Hope the movie place was next door .. LOL!!!! and even that would be a feat in itself to get next door to get a movie .. LOL!!

I can't get over .. that is a LOT of snow .. ..did I say that already??

We ended up with 12 inches but drifts much worse... don't have any pictures though. I have shoveled a total of 2 hours 45 minutes and am so tired. My work was open again today though so that is where I am, leaving in 1 1/2 hours though to run some errands & go home to sleep. I am so tired!

Shelly- Your neck & back hurting like mine yet? My neck hurts worse than my back, although doing B&G last night I could feel it in my back big time!

Glad you are at home & safe! They had people going out on snowmobiles yesterday trying to get to people stranded on roads!

Jen - sorry you had to go into work! That sucks. We had over 20 inches. I'm sure some people made it into my office, because the closer to Toronto you got, the less snow they had. My town got hit with the worst of it.

Laura - ha! No, I trudged through the snow about 15 minutes to the movie place. I rewarded myself with a Turtles cream egg though;)

There's no point in even shoveling here because it is STILL SNOWING. We have about 14 inches on the ground at the moment, but like I said, it's still coming down. We're forecast to get about 20. I worked out of the house so no issues driving... but I can't get the dog to go outside for anything! LOL

I should take some pics...

Marie

PS: Shelley, you look like Davey Crockett. :7 All you need is the coonskin hat!

No snow pictures here, Shelley!

I can offer a picture of me in my flip flops}( 70 degrees here in Arizona.

You may want to consider coming by for that personal organzing of my office:+

Woohoo Shelley! You can ski off that roof and land in the snow. Fun!

If I knew how to photoshop, I'd take that picture of you doing a pike in front of target, and paste it on the roof of the house.

How come you're spending your day watching movies, and not doing all three GymStyle workouts back to back, and BootCamp twice? :p :D

Oh, and what movie did you rent?
Sandra
- nosy

This happened in MN back in '97 where we had a TON of snow. Well, as you guessed it, major flooding destroyed Grand Forks ND in the spring. The snow has to go somewhere - pray for a gradual warm up. Has anyone talked about floods or where the snow is supposed to go?

Terri

Very cool, Shelly! I haven't figured out yet how to put a picture *in* the post, but I did add a few to my picture trail! http://www.picturetrail.com/jess_jugs Check out the recent photos & you'll see a few of my kids, dh, & I (and our dog) playing in the snow! I love snow days! ETA: That was also early y'day, we got a lot more snow after that!

Here in Boston it is a nasty, slushy, and now icy mess. But nothing like 20" so you have us beat! I am lucky to work within walking distance of my apartment so I can budle up and drudge up the hill even when others can't (wait, I probably should NOT be happy about that...).

"How come you're spending your day watching movies, and not doing all three GymStyle workouts back to back, and BootCamp twice?

Oh, don't you worry! I did Shovelmax (which was probably equivalent to Bootcamp twice), and P90X Chest, Shoulders and Triceps, and vacuumed, trudged to the store and back, did laundry, some scrapbooking.... I wasn't lazy;)

We watched The Illusionist with Edward Norton. It was VERY good.

Ahhhh. Yes, that was a full day! Your upper body should be toasty warm today! I've never even heard of that movie. I'll put it on my list of Things to Watch When I Can Stay Awake Long Enough to Watch Them. Are you doing another P90X rotation, or just doing the workouts when you want to?

Cheers,
Sandra
