Snoring

Beets

Has anyone else developed a snoring problem since they got pregnant? I am heading into my 28th week now and am having a hard time getting a good night's sleep because I wake myself up with the snoring and snorting! My poor husband slept on the couch last night so he could get some shut eye. I don't want him to sleep on the couch for the next 12 weeks! Any suggestions or anyone out there who wants to commiserate with me?

No suggestions, but I'll commiserate. Snoring is terrible--this one weekend we went skiing with some friends, shared a room, and spent the night. The guy snored so loud. It was obnoxious even! My husband and I couldn't sleep the majority of the night. There was just no blocking it out. His wife slept right on through it. And we're laying there thinking it should be her obligation to wake up and move him about. The next day they are all bright eyed and bushy tailed rady to go, and we were like zombies. Hmmm... Hope I haven't made you feel worse. There's bound to be something you can do. Keep researching. Good luck with that. --Gina

I'm sorry I don't have any solutions for you, but I did have the same problem when I was pregnant. My husband snores too though, so he couldn't complain too much. All I can say is that the problem goes away after the baby comes (thankfully, you'll have enough on your hands without that added distraction). You might try a humidifier though - I think the problem is worse in cool weather when the air is dry inside. Good luck!
