Hi again, thanks for answering my other barbell question about the
distance needed between the weights on the bar to use on tower---
but now I am confused You said you need 33 inches between
the weight collars......do you mean the "stoppers" on the bar itself (that's
what I call them ) or the actual collars you put on after you put on the
weights????? I recently bought the 51" cardio barbell and the distance
between the raised "stoppers" on the bar is 40 inches. Then I wanted the
troy lightweight 54" bar and the distance on the bar between the raised
stopping points is 34 inches. So, am I okay on either or both of these???
I like them both but want to make sure I will be okay with the tower.
Sorry to be such a barbell "dork" but I'm new to these. I already had a
little Danskin barbell and I am pretty sure that one would not have worked
but I can still use the weight plates with either of the other ones. The only
thing I don't like about the cardio barbell is the threaded collars but they're
ok. Thanks again for a reply...............
