I n ever wear my sneaker out doors, I use them indoors for about 5 hours a week an carpeting for my workout. How often do I need to change them? They seem to last forever

Hi Silbow! It is too hard to know the exact answer since shoe companies differ as well as the individuals wearing the shoes. You could have flat feet, high arches, feet that pronate etc. You could also have a shoe that does or does not address that problem specifically. Your best bet is at the 4 month mark, go to a reputable shoe store and ask them to evaluate you, recommend a shoe, and then continue to buy there so that they can inspect the wear and tear on your shoes and let you know when you are due for a new pair. I did this with Fleet Feet. They had a physical therapist on staff who studied my feet as well as my stride. I took my shoes off and stood there in my socks to have my arches evaluated. Then we went outside and he watched me run and walk to see how my Q angle lined up (angle from the hip, to knee, to foot) to evaluate the stresses on my skeletal system. Then we found shoes that addressed those issues along with a shoe insert that reinforced the corrections and I was good to go. Hope that helps!
