Sneaker Issues

Coakieanos

Cathlete
Good Morning,

I am having difficulty finding sneakers that fit my narrow ankles. I'll buy them in hopes of a snug fit, to no avail. What usually happens I'll buy them in the store, they fit ok in the store, then the next day while doing cardio, the sneakers are slipping up and down my ankles, very annoying. Has anyone had a similar problem and found sneakers that worked? or a solution?

It is very frustrating, any advice is welcome. I am at my wits end.

Thanks in advance.

Yvonne

I haven't tried the Ryka Studio D mid, but was just reading the review on Zappos.com. The reviewer said she liked them because they really fit her thin feet and ankles. HTH.
They are cute too:)

Yvonne, I have a similar problem. In my case my feet are a little wide at the toe, but I've got dainty little ankles (like having triangle feet--good for swimming at least :)). I have the Ryka N-Gage Studio Mid shoes and I love them. Just the fact that I can tighten the laces up higher helps them stay on my ankle a little better. I just had to get used to the slightly higher ankle coverage.

I got mine from Walking Sue on Ebay. Here's what they look like: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-RYKA-Womens...4138573QQihZ024QQcategoryZ63889QQcmdZViewItem

Thanks, Since I like to try them before purchasing, btw, that's a great price for them on Walking Sue, do you think Lady Footlocker or Bob's would have them?

Yvonne

I don't know if Lady Footlocker has this particular kind of Rykas, but they often have various kinds of Rykas, so it's worth a shot. They will also order for you if they don't have your size in something, though I don't know if that costs extra or anything.

I think Walking Sue accepts returns, at least, though you'd probably be out some money for shipping if you have to return. Some people say they need a 1/2 size up in Rykas but I got my usual size and they fit perfectly.
