SNAZZY Ladies Check In...Month of April! :)

Wendy, I started WW about 7 years ago just before DH was diagnosed. I lost about 35 pounds! :eek: It was based on the points system and now that I'm a life member, I've gone back a few times when 8-10# have creeped on and I wanted/needed a new approach to staying accountable. 6# is NOT a silly reason to start it. I think it's a great program and helps you learn to balance the whole foods with the non-whole goodies we want every now and then. :D Great job!

And yeah, I never refuel during a long run. However, I've been trying a few, A FEW, things over the last few long runs and am learning (the hard way) that it's a NECESSITY! Yesterday's run was not good...not only the horrible rainy conditions nor the hills, just the energy level was NILL and I was stooooopid to try to do 20 without gels or SOMETHING. Anyway.......waiting for the teenager to wake up then I'm taking the boys to the state park for some hiking.

Y'day's work out was Kickmax in full holding 2# DB's during the combos.

This morning was a rest day.

Gayle:: They were discussing WW at my SIL's house y'day. No one knows I'm doing it but my Cathe peeps. I was dying to chime in on the conversation b/c I love it but had to keep my mouth shut for fear of getting the "oh please, like you need to lose weight" comments. :rolleyes: It started because of my husband's cousins wants to lose weight so she was asking my SIL about it. My SIL is a personal trainer btw. You could tell the woman was setting herself up for failure because all that came out of her mouth were this long laundry list of things she WOULDN'T do to lose the weight...foods/etc that she refused to give up. If you aren't willing to make changes then how do you expect to lose any weight, lady!? :confused::rolleyes: I can't say it surprised me though b/c she's had this convo with my SIL more then once and never followed through. My SIL recommended South Beach over WW though which to me is crazy especially when you are dealing with someone who is obviously going to have a hard time doing this. It's fine if she feels for whatever reason that it's the better over all weight loss plan but that doesn't mean it's going to be the better plan for every person she comes in contact with. Heck, I wouldn't even want to do South Beach! No way! Just too strict for me. :eek: I need more wiggle room. That's why I LOVE WW. :D
 
Checking in with High Step Circuit this morning. Its one of the easiest ones but still drenched my shirt. Next time I'll do the cardio on 8" step,I used 4lbs dbells but still with the lite resistance band.

Gayle-I'm with Wendy! But I would of passed out @ 5miles(and thats high balling it:eek:)

Wendy-I know people like that were they say they want to change but the "BUT" is always in the way. You'll speak volumes with your results :D.
 
Good Morning.

Well, my recovery was nice but now it's over so I jumped back into STS with disc 19 this morning. :D

Half of my Easter weekend bloaty weight gain is already gone!:D:D

Terina:: Great work out! Don't ya love the sweaty mess work outs? ;) Thanks re my results. I am already seeing/feeling a big difference with just the few pounds off already! It's really helping my STS results shine through! :D

Scale is holding steady...in line for another .5 loss this week! :D That's great considering how I ate and drank over the weekend! :eek:
 
I thought I posted my workout for tuesday:
anyway here it is:Checking in with The Firm Abs and Calorie Killer.
1st I have to say I got a great workou this morning! But for some reason EVERY TIME this workout comes up in my rotation I ALWAYS dread doing it, but then when done I find that I have enjoyed myself and got a incredible workout( I don't get it!LOL). =0

Now Checking in for last two days: Wednesday I did STS ToTal Body,
I was so excited to do this workout because I had done my 1 rep max test,then I read the wrong #'s and the whole time i'm thinking wow my results kicked out some low weights
Today I did Super Cardio from The Firm, I haven't done this workout since last January. I cant belive a few years ago it would take me about 2 hrs to finish this workout with all the pausing and rewinding. It felt great to keep up,but couple of times I had to stop and catch my breath b4 picking up weights. Next time i'm going to use 8" step.

Excited to start STS next week!!!! doing my 1 rep max test on sat and sun.

Great work outs Terina!:) Soooo excited for you to start STS! Can't wait to hear what you think! :D

I chose Cardio Core Circuit as produced for this morning's TORTURE session. ;) Man that work out gets me every time! Definitely one that's on my "puke factor" list!:eek:

Tomorrow I have STS M2 D20/Legs on tap for early in the morning. We leave for our overnight in NYC mid morning tmrw so I need to bang it out w/enough time after to get ready and finish packing. A part of me thinks I'm crazy for scheduling leg day then but OTOH it's perfect because walking the city all day after working legs (even though it sounds like torture!LOL) will help my legs recover much more effectively then sitting behind a desk at work will. :rolleyes:

Well today's check in I did Super Body Sculpt and I did one rep max for disk 1-6. tomorrow i'll do more ( well depends if I wanna look at my weights) =)

I'm starting week 2 of Meso 4. Yea!
I also pre-ordered Cathe's new workouts. I'm looking forward to the barre and yoga one's. I've never done a barre workout and I'm anxious to see how Cathe will do the yoga one's.
It's cold here in Minnesota but I shouldn't complain. My prayers go out to those in the South hit by the tornadoes.
