Slow & Heavy or PS Series?

Hi Cathe. I don't have the PS Series (yet!), and I'm wondering which one you'd suggest. I have the Xpress series and Max. Intensity series. It seems these are geared towards endurance. Is that correct? I want to gain strength (and definition, if my genes will permit me!) So I was set to order the PS series and a new barbell. Now that you've announced the new videos, I don't know if I should wait..(There is a little voice in my head screaming the obvious - I'll eventually have them ALL!! What am I waiting for???)
So, for strength gains for someone who is still at the dumbell use only (10lbs, 8lbs, 5lbs) stage, what would you suggest as the next step? I guess what I'm asking is this :Is the Slow & Heavy series to be more advanced than the PS Series?
Any guidance in regard to this will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Tricia

Hi Tricia! If you want to gain strength and definition and are currently using 5,8,and 10 pound dumbells, and were contemplating getting a new barbell, I think that you would benefit greatly from the Pure Strength Series. You will be pleased with the strength improvements that you will achieve. Simply start the series with a lighter weight(but make sure that it is still a challenge)and work your way up at a gradual pace.

It is always a good idea to rotate your workouts after 8 to 12 weeks so the Slow and Heavy Series will be a perfect rotation option for you once they are released.
