Hi Cathe,

I hope your feeling good being back to work and all and that your family is doing great!! Its great to have you back !!!! :) :) My question is = will slow and heavy give me any weight loss benefits.. i am currently doing a rotation with PH and MIS each once per week and seem to be getting pretty good results.. still overfat.. especially my upper arms.. i can't seem to make them budge.. i read someone saying they felt as though S&H made them look like a football player and i don't want that!!! But i was just wondering what you thought about me doing a rotation with it.. I am desperate to get this weight off.. but since i found you i have managed to drop about 30 still have far to go.. want to get down to about 140 and am at 187.. anyway.. sorry i am rambling .. anyone willing to give their input would be greatly appreciated .. because i know Cathe is busy!!

thanks,
Candy

Hi Candy! Congratulations on your weight loss and I wish you continued success with your goal.

What slow and heavy will do for you is shock your metabolism which is what you want at the point that you find that your results with PH and MIS slow down some. So when you are ready to use slow and heavy, use it for three weeks, and then go to either Pure Strength series or back to MIS and PH and you'll find that you are a bit stronger. More strength indicates more lean muscle mass. More lean muscle mass, burns more calories all day long. More calories burned all day long equals more overall weight loss (as long as your diet stays in check too).

I would not worry about getting too big with the slow and heavy series for two main reasons: 1) you will only be using it in three week increments 2) you can always cut back on the weight you use if you find that you are getting "bulky".

Good Luck!
