Slow and Heavy

Hi All!! S&H is a dvd I don't have yet, and I'm wondering if its worthwhile. The only weight workouts I don't have are Body Max, MIS and this series. I'm not really looking to build strenth as much as muscle definition. So the question is: Do I need to add S&H to my collection? Deanie:)

Hi Deanie -
I use S&H the least of all Cathe's weight workouts. I've been getting much better results with the Gym Styles and find they are more enjoyable to do. I do S&H during a week when I'm looking for variety and don't want to get burned out doing the GS workouts but looking back it's been quite a while since I've done S&H. If you have the GS workouts, you might want to go after the others you don't have. I really like MIS and Body Max and you'll get Power Hour if you buy them on DVD, definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Thanks Diana,
I have the GS series and was wondering if there was a point to the S&H series. I have PH on video and ordered body max 2(the new dvd cathe is doing for the preorder) and I thought maybe S&H offered me something worthwhile. Still not sure. I think I agree with you and I would probably only use it once in a great while. Of course for everyone person who likes it there is someone who doesn't. I think I'll put it on my wish list and maybe get it this summer.

I agree with Heidi. I haven't used Slow & Heavy in a while because I'm hooked on the Gym Styles right now, but I love Slow & Heavy. It is probably my favorite weight series besides the Gym Styles. And like Heidi said, it definitely makes the biceps "pop."

IF you are looking for definition go for S&H. I just decided to start a rotation and it always does the most for creating definition.

Let us know what you decide.

I think I will go ahead and get S&H, but not till March. I would like really good definition since summer is coming!!:) I am still unsure about a rotation using S&H. Do you do 3 weeks GS and one of S&H? or visa-versa? or 3 weeks S&H and one of circuits? or just plain 4 weeks of S&H?
deanie:)
