Hi Cathe,
Which do you think is better to slim the lower body, Heavy weights, low reps or low weights high reps or a combination of both.

Do you think stepping adds weight to the lower body for those persons who have disposition for having larger hips. It seems to run in the family.

I can definitely say that cardio slims the lower body fast. I added spinning to my running and it's just been a month and everything just keeps sliding off. Brand new stuff too! I was trying to lose it from my belly but it came off elsewhere!

For me it was very heavy weights(lots of squats and lunges), cardio, a little running and a very healthy clean diet. This combo slimmed my hips and outer thighs greatly.

Rach,
How much do you run? And how many times a week do you spin? I'm trying to slim my inner thighs a little.

What have you heard or read about kickboxing as a lower body slimmer? I have read and heard that running is great for slimming the legs.

Hi,
I'm just new at running and can't run very fast. I try to follow a 5k training schedule most of the time. Which gets me running about 3 miles three to four times a week. I do 2 spinning classes. The spinning was the only new thing I've added to my routine. So I guess it needed something new. I didn't drop any weight though just can't get my jeans to stay up.

About a year ago a bunch of us were doing a lower body rotation. I don't know if you can find those posts.

I found L&G to help A LOT (even more than LL or PLB) and having at least 1 or 2 interval a week (Imax/IMAX2), kickbox (KPC or CK)

Running is great too but there is too much snow up here stil!

I have been doing L&G once a week and legs at the gym once a week and seem to be seeing some results. I also do cardio 3-4 times a week (step 3 times, running/elliptical/kickbox the other)
