Slim Series or CTX??

I have a rotation that puts me through May, but am going to order something in May for the summer. At that point I think I should be on target to be ready to really lean out and get cut and maintain!!! (hopefully) I was wondering about comments on these two series, which one would be better for that objective?? (I know one is not a Cathe series, but people seem to say some positive things about them both ---- but I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea either.......I LOVE Cathe and prefer to workout to her, but need to try and stay objective)

Any thoughts??

I will post this in video questions too :)

This is just my opinion, but a friend of mine lent me her Slim Series to review and I thought the workouts looked very boring. You basically do the same workout six days a week for six weeks! My friend lost a lot of weight on this (also doing the Firm and really REALLY cleaning up her diet), but she said she was totally burnt out by the time she hit five weeks.

I think after doing Cathe this would be really hard, if only for all of the options we have for pre-mixes and such... if I do any workout more than twice a week, I get bored. This is part of the reason Cathe works so well for me, and my collection keeps GROWING! lol

Just my .02.

Cheers,
Marie

Ok, I haven't even seen Slim Series yet, but I am pretty much going to tell you that it HAS TO BE CTX!!! CTX is one of my all time fav Cathe series. It is high impact, but you can modify, and IMHO, it is no more high impact than any other Cathe tape.......especially if you do it on a 4" step.

Plus, I am sure you get so much more with CTX. I plan on trying Slim Series, but I am going to buy ONE of Ebay cheap. Since everyone says each workout is pretty much the same.

From what I've heard about SS, which I don't have, I'd opt for CTX. The CTX workouts, used as is, are far from boring. Mixing and matching them with each other or with segments in other Cathe workouts will give you entirely new workouts. The UB split is awesome, and LL is mean and effective. There's also a compilation of ab workouts. It's a series that is really worth more than it is.

I don't have either BUT, I have yet to hear a good thing about Slim Series and I have yet to hear a bad thing about CTX. Why not P90X? If you are looking to add upper body muscle definition, this will do the trick!

i don't have slim series (i, too, have read that it's very boring).. however i LOVE CTX!
