Hello everyone,
I thought I'd start a new post since the other one was turning into a book. AGain, thank you all for you suggestions and support. They were all very helpful and comforting.
Well, I hope I don't jinx anything, but my dear little Colin has slept THROUGH the night the past two nights. I have still been waking up every 1.5-2 hours to check on him but he has not been waking me! I don't want to assume I am out of the woods yet but at least some more progress has been made. He is succesfully taking at least one nap per day in his crib (morning). Taking an afternoon nap does not always fly but he just might not need it. I have been getting him to bed between 8:30 and 9:30pm and he has been sleeping until around 6-7am. He will wake up in the middle of the night, fuss a little (I do not go in since it usually only lasts for a minute)then settle himself back to sleep on his own. I don't know if it is a fluke or if the BAby Whisperer technique/routine has finally kicked in. We will see how tonight and subsequent nights go. It has been nice to have some sleep back though.
Gotta run, Colin just woke from his nap and is crying--this was a 1.5 hour nap!!! Talk to all again soon!
