sleep tips for Cathe

...and anyone, really, but after seeing the thread with Cathe up at 2:30am, I thought she might need this in a stressful time of her life. My husband came up with this trick after all kinds of different counting variations failed us. It's a pattern with the alphabet that goes like this:

A
AA
AAA
AAB
ABB
BBB
BBC
BCC
CCC
CCD
CDD
DDD

you get the picture. Since he came up with it, this has rarely failed me, and in fact last night I did not even make it to BBB. The only thing is, I sometimes end up thinking about Cathe and Cedie when I get to the CDD portion, and then I start thinking about tomorrow's workout! But mostly this is just enough to keep my mind off of whatever it is that's keeping me awake, but boring enough to get me to sleep. Try it!

Beth, and Beth's DH, thanks!!! I love it!!! I have a stressful week ahead (taking the CA bar exam!!) and have been having trouble sleeping. I love this method, and will probably try it around 3am tomorrow morning! ;)

well, you have a lot to be thinking about! I posted this because of your postings at 2:30am -- hopefully this will help, but then when will you find time to answer all of the ask cathe questions?!
