Shoulder Pain After Drill Max?

I just bought Drill Max and have done it a few times. I find it's a lot of fun and goes fast, but I notice a heavy reliance on my shoulders in the strength portions and even some of the cardio portions (such as lifting the weights laterally during lunges and holding the ball during a cardio segment). Is it just me? Or is too much Drill Max the reason for the shoulder pain that I'm having lately? I'm now going to work some more strength workouts into my rotation to work on building up my shoulders, but I just wondered if maybe my shoulders were not ready for Drill Max or maybe I've even done it too many times (I've done it three times now over a week).

Thanks for your thoughts.

Well, let me first say no one on this forum can (or should) diagnose your problem. Shoulder injuries are serious & can literally take years to heal if ever, def. see your dr.

OK now that that's out of the way..........DM has more shoulder work in it than any other circuit DVD I own. It's one of the things I love about it. :) 3X in a week is quite a bit of shoulder work. I would suggest 2 things. First, don't do DM so much! Try incorporating a few other circuit workouts into your routine. Second, go lighter on the weights & as soon as you feel discomfort stop & move on to the next exercise.

I have asked Cathe a few questions about Drill Max movements and both times she mentioned that the moves I asked about rely heavily on shoulder strength. Not sure if that helps, but thought I'd ring in to let you know it's not just you!
