Should I be sore?

This is driving me crazy. If I am not at least a little sore after a muscle-training workout, have I not worked hard enough? I am really trying to make some progress with upper body strenght/toning, etc., and only SOMETIMES am I sore after doing an upper-body tape. I use PUB, PS, PH, MIS, S&H (I read on this forum that after this workout, it isn't uncommon to not be sore).

It really motivates me to "feel" my lats or my triceps or whatever the next day and when i don't . . . am I not lifting heavy enough? enough reps? Am I doing SOMETHING wrong? FYI, I do 3 upper-body workouts a week with 3 cardios/lower body in between.

Thanks for your help!

Nope. I've been lifting for 15+ years & rarely "feel the burn" anymore. I really miss it!:p

Adding variety may bring back soreness, if that's what you'd like--try a different rotation or mix up the order/style of your lifting. I tried a different ab exersize a few months ago & could barely sit up straight for a week LOL.
