Should I be doing seperate forearm work?

If I had never done the S&H series, I probably wouldn't even be asking this question!

But, I am taking a month off from the S&H series and doing some other workouts and I haven't done any workouts yet that incorporate forearm work as a seperate lift.

I was wondering if bicep work does enough to strengthen the forearms? I really have noticed a difference in my forearms since I have started to lift a lot heavier. I'm not sure if that is due to the S&H forearm work, or just from doing such heavy lifting with my upper body?????

So, my question is basically, do the forearms develop enough without their own seperate "lifting routine"? Or should I do some wrist curls seperately?

Thanks...:D

I think it depends on what you want, but I tend to add a separate forearm workout, and also a shoulder rotator workout, every week or 10 days just for good measure. I know my forearms get used in any biceps work, or just generally for heaving barbells over my head or holding them for any exercise really. But I like to give them a little extra special work from time to time.
