Shorts vs. Pants - my theory

Am I the only one who's noticed that Cathe and her crew are all wearing pants in the Hardcore series? I have come up with a theory that I believe explains this phenomenon. I believe they have all had their legs replaced with cybernetic prosthetics! Think about it! HOW ELSE COULD THEY DO ALL THOSE FLIPPIN' PLIE JACKS AND SQUAT JUMPS AND PLYO JACKS AND STILL BE SMILING?????

It's just a theory and I thought I'd throw it out there for discussion
