Short lo impact cardio videos ?

Hi All,

I am on the look out for recommendations for short (30 minutes) low impact floor cardio videos ? Can anyone recommend some good ones ?

OMG so funny you should post this now! :)

I just emailed honeybunch about a great one. It's Charlene Prickett's "Oxygen In, Calories Out" video. The video contains 2-30min hi/lo workouts, they are low impact, but the intensity is high enough to get your heart rate up. Charlene believes in using "big movements" with the arms and legs to get your heart rate up, but less impact to be kinder to the knees and joints. I just received the video in the mail yesterday and did both workouts back to back for a 1hr. workout, and I really liked both.

I also got the video "Get The Fat Off" which is also 2-30min workouts, one is low impact/high intensity hi/lo and the other is step. I haven't done them yet, but so far I've liked every video I've gotten by Charlene. I use her videos in contrast to Cathe's. Cathe is my "high impact/high intensity" favorite, and Charlene has become my "low impact/high intensity" favorite.

Hi Donna,

I am after something short to fit in with the fat melting rotation you sent me. Everything I have is 40 minutes ! I am going to head over to Charlene Pricketts website and check that video out.
BTW, Donna, could the 30 minute hi/lo segment in the rotation be a short step routine, instead of cardio ?
What would you suggest on how to fit in Cathe's Ab Hits to the rotation ?

Hi Anna,

By cardio I mean ANY form of your choice (step, hi/lo, jogging, treadmill, bike, whatever you choose as your form for that day).

I like to keep that loose, because some days you just feel like a good step workout, then some days you feel hi/lo-ish! So any cardio workout is fine.

I know you haven't gotten the CTX Series yet, and that's what I normally used for short cardio as I didn't have any cardio videos under 45min either. But finding Charlene's will really give me some variety, especially mornings when I didn't sleep quite well enough to knock out CTX 10-10-10 or step & intervals before a weight workout. These lower impact 30min workouts will fit quite nicely before S&H or PS Series! :)

As for abs, I guess you could throw in however long a segment you chose on whichever days are best for you. For me, I usually use a weight workout that had the abs section built in, so I didn't have to think about what days or where to add them on. Gotta love the way Cathe throws in abs at the end of her videos! :) She takes the thought process right out of it for me!

i like Kathy Smith's time saver fat burning cardio.. and also Tamilee Webb .. cardio blast i think it is.. i got them both from collagevideo.com for those days when i want to tack on a short workout after power hour/MIS etc.... hope this helped
