SHE WON JK ROWLING TICKETS!!!

OMG!OMG!OMG! WE ARE SO EXCITED!! My 13 year old daughter Faith just won tickets to see JK Rowling and will apparate to Toronto this coming Tuesday for the big event. She screamed and cried and has the biggest smile on! She's read them all, seen the movies and I can't tell you how many of our dinner conversations revolve around Harry Potter et. al. I swear my little girl is charmed! :7

So all of you uber fans...if you had one question to ask Ms. Rowling what would it be??

I AM SO EXCITED FOR HER!!!! :7 :7 :7 :7 :7

Take Care
Laurie:)

I can't think of any questions but you will have to let us know how it goes! :D That is so exciting and to be able to see her in person.

Laurie, I'm soooo excited and jealous of your DD. I'd like to know how much of the end did she have in mind when she started the books. Did she have a pretty good idea what was going to happen all along, since it all fits so well, or did it just evolve as she wrote? Did she know who was going to die and when from the start? Tell your DD to have a wonderful time and listen well.

Laurie, I'm soooo excited for your DD!! What a fantastic opportunity, and a special memory she'll be able to share with her own kids and grandkids.:)

Thanks for sharing our excitement everyone :) I still can't believe she won the tickets. Her school received four of them and they were put in a lottery. I have minimal details but it's at the Toronto Winter Garden Theatre which is an historic, gorgeous theatre. All I know at this point is that each attendee meets Ms. Rowling and receives an autographed copy of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'. I hope there's a Q&A period but I guess I'll have to wait until Faith can tell me herself:)

Michele, I totally agree! It's such an awesome (in the truest sense of the overused word) opportunity, like meeting Lewis Carroll or one of the Brothers Grimm.:)

Robin...Faith loves your questions...hope she can give you some answers.

Take Care
Laurie:)

Laurie, will Faith get a chance to have pictures taken of her with JK? I'd love for you to share!

I have to add that a coworker and I are planning a 60th birthday party for our supervisor this Dec and it will be a Harry Potter themed thing! Butterbeer and chocolate frogs! Yum!

Robin, Faith will most certainly have her camera with her and it will be my pleasure to share the pictures she takes.:)

Sounds like a super happy fun party! Chocolate frogs should be easy enough but what are you serving as Butterbeer? Butterbeer sounds soooo yummy:9 and I'm pretty sure it's completely calorie free :+

Take Care
Laurie:)

I'm so happy for you and your DD! We're hardcore HP fans here too.
My question suggestion is "What happens to Dudley?" I loved how Dudley was sad that he wouldn't see Harry ever again. It was such a change of character yet JKR made it so believable. In her "mental sequel", do they keep in touch or ever meet again? Please post photos too!!

Jonahnah
Chocolate IS the answer, regardless of the question.
