Sharing my misery

I didn't exercise for a few weeks when I was planning for and being on my vacation, which was an eating and drinking vacation in Napa Valley CA no less. When I came back, I started exercising but overdid it and got so charleyhorse I was limping for days. Now here I am, with a 3-day weekend, charley horse all gone, VERY motivated, and I'm hit by an awful chest cold that keeps me up coughing all night long! x(
I MISS EXERCISING SO MUCH!!! What I would give to feel well and have the time to devote to exercising all at the same time!

Thanks for letting me vent guys...

Miserable in New York,
Nancy

Nothing to do with your venting, but how was the trip? I used to live in Sonoma and my sister and dad still do. Needless to say that whole area is near and dear to my heart! I go every chance I get, lucky me;-)

Thanks Barbara. I took a look at some of your pics, which are great. Your husband looks like Bruce Willis. You are a dishy couple. :)

Dani-
You certainly are lucky! It was so beautiful in Napa, and the wine was so delicious! It really was a great trip.

That is so funny, just the other day I was looking at pictures of Bruce Willis now that he shaves his head, I was saying to myself that he looks just like my husband, hey who knows maybe they are related because my husband is adopted.

That is funny! It must be nice to have a husband who loves working out as much as you do. The shaved head looks great on him!!

Hang in there, Nancy! If you take care of yourself, you'll be on your feet in no time and you won't have lost anything by taking a respite. In fact, a short break is often beneficial and you'll come back strong and raring to go! Drink tea, eat chicken soup and nurse that cold away.

Hi Nancy!

I'm so sorry you're under the weather, sweetie! :-( Cuddle up under a blanket and have some tea with lemon and honey, and put on a great movie. The workouts will be there when you're feeling better, and you'll regain your strength in no time flat. Last time I had an unexpected workout "vacation" for three weeks straight I was sore for a couple of days but really surged back in strength -- it was kinda fun!

Take care -- sending hugs!!!

RE: Hi Nancy!

Awwwww, Kathy you are so sweet! I've been taking care of myself all weekend, drinking all the hot drinks, basically staying in bed, but this blasted thing just lingers on and on. It's actually been 2 weeks since the first signs of it showed up. I can't ever remember having a cold that lasted quite this long. I think today I might just get out Pure Strength and go at it. If I collapse, I'll take it as a sign that maybe I should get back to bed! :(

Still miserable in New York,

Nancy
