Share the love

There has a been a bit of drama here on these boards the past few days, so - call me gay or whatever and snicker to yourself at my expense - I thought we could make a list about what we love about this site and the people on it. We are such a diverse group and we are going to bump and scratch and argue sometimes, but we have so many good qualities between the whole of us, so let's share!

Lori, I think that you are just the cutest thing! I enjoy reading your threads about dogs or fortune telling, how you keep having to bat men away like flies because you have such an attractive personality, whatever you say, you are just adorable

Pinky, I feel like a better person just for reading your posts, you are so real and calm and intuitive; you are just lovely

Michele, I look forward to seeing you everyday, I am looking forward to getting to know you better because you just seem so laidback and fun

Shelley, you know why we all love you, because you have such a beautiful daughter!:7 And because you make us laugh. I will never forget your email when I hadn't been on the forum in a while and whenever I think about your thoughtfulness I smile

Angie, Bobbi, Emily, Becky you girls CRACK ME UP!!! I cannot compete with your senses of humor and lighthearted approach to life. I wish I had half of your wit (of just one of you, not all of you put together!:)). BTW, Angie how is your teenager doing driving?

Carol, Sarah, and Kathryn you guys have so much knowledge about everything, and I want to be like you guys when I grow up! Carol, you are probably the sweetest and most humble person on this forum.

Diane Sue, Haydee; when I get to be a grandma and I look like you......nevermind, you are too hot! I didn't even look like you when I was a teenager!

Nancy, I just look forward to seeing those red "edited on ...." lines at the top of your posts. You have an analytical brain I truly admire.

Charlotte, you have incredible dedication. You are also such a sweet person! I love how in your posts it seems as though you like to find the best in people

Okay, this is long. Sorry about that! I will stop now, I know that there are people that I left out, and I am sorry, I didn't mean to at all! I know that there are others who know you better than I who can describe you more eloquently :D

Have a great day, everyone!

Missy:)

Missy,

What a sweet and thoughtful post! I really appreciate it when someone points out all the good things in other people. Those are the things we need to remember. I think we are all surrounded by so much negativity in our daily lives (from many sources) that it's refreshing to focus on the good in people.

Thanks for such a nice start to my Friday!

:D Nicole

Oh Missy, you're so gay! But in the good way. You know, we like that up here in Canada, land of marijuana for all and gay marriage on every street corner!

Seriously, thank you so much.

It would take up far too much bandwidth for me to start posting about individuals, but there are people on here who keep me sane every single day, and who I can't imagine being without now that I know them, and they know who they are.:D

And everyone deserves huge kudos for keeping things running on the right track here. There's always going to be arguments and differences and some pettiness - we're all human. But at least we can work it out and leave it.

I love this place. If you don't believe me, check out my post count;)

I'm not gonna single any sisters or brothers out. Just want to thank all of my Cathe friends for making this such a supportive, informative, friendly, open, silly, honest, stimulating, thought-provoking, enjoyable and amusing place to come to!!

Missy, thank you for your kind words. I had a horrid experience when I was new to this forum that sticks to me to this day, so I never expected someone to say what you have said. That is MORE than sweet and is so NOT gay.:)

I have made friendships in this forum that I'm sure is a lifetime thing. There are women here who make me laugh everyday by making me see things in a deliciously wicked light, which is a great counter to my DRAMA. You know who you are.;-)

Pinky

P.S. I agree, Carole (Mckmain) is the most humble person around here. I look at her avatar and think, That is the body I want.:)

Wow, Missy, this is an awesome idea. I've got a big lump in my throat! I don't know that I can write quite as much as I want since I am at work and my brain cloud does not allow me to remember 1/2 of what I want to say. So let me preface by saying if I don't mention you, please don't take it personally! These are just the people that stick out in my crowded mind right this instant. This is a wonderful cyber community and without every single one of you, this place would lack a little somethinsomethin.

Missy - I think YOU are the cutest thing and I LOVE to read your posts. You ALWAYS have something humorous and worthwhile to contribute. You are always considerate and for that I am GRATEFUL. Oh, and so far my daughter's doing well driving! Thanks for asking!

Terri - you are so freaking hysterical! Can you believe it's been AGES since I had Hot Tamales?!?

Sandra - I love how your posts are always directly personally towards each individual. I know you are going to be a great mom!

Carole - You always have something valuable to contribute and are so motivating and supportive to so many people. You are truly an inspiration.

Bobbi - You are ONE CRAZY CHICK!!! I love reading your wacky posts - they always make me laugh out loud! I imagine you must be ONE FUN MOM!

Wendy - you're a wonderful and beautiful mother. You always impressed me with your workouts during your pregnancy and now even when raising Joey you are dedicated to your goals. You are always so sweet to everyone and a treasure to have on this forum.

Debbie(Boybert) - I love reading your posts because you have such contagious bubbling enthusiasm, your sense of humor is awesome and your workouts ROCK! You are such a wonderful mother to that beautiful boy.

Mama Deb - You are the Forum Glue that holds us together! You, Kathy, and Lorraine will never be forgotten for the wonderful job you did with the road trip. Your generosity and kindness just ooze out all over this forum!

Dani - what can I say, girlie?! You're just the sweetest thing in the world and I'm so glad I met you (even if you DID break my hand!!) I'm so excited for the concert next week!!

Texas girls: Jes, Pinky, Shonie, Marla, Laura, Laura, Nadine(also Sandy and Sabrina!): You girls are SO FUNNY and you entertain me on a daily basis. You are all such strong, caring, and intelligent heifers!!!

And finally, last but certainly not least, my beloved 512 girls: you know how I feel about you. You are the lonk in my frappucino, the toe jam in my trail mix, and the snickers in my custard. I LOVE YOU ALL DEARLY. You are the bestest friends a girl could ask for.

Geez, I could go on and on and on and on..........but some people here think I need to actually EARN my paycheck. *sigh*

Angie

Hey guys,
I don't post as much as all of you, but I so enjoy reading all of your posts and it is such a tight group and such an informative place. I know we all get our knickers in a knot sometimes over certain posts, but all in all we all respect and truly care about each other on this forum. Thanks for such a positve thread and lets
all continue to try be supportive. And, I will try not to lurk so much and start posting more. I am just so not clever like some of you.:)

Susan

Angie, can you believe Shelley has never had a hot tamale!!!! I think we need to send her some so she will know what she has been missing! So lets both go get a box this weekend and send it to her. If we ACCIDENTLY eat them before we mail them well she won't know :)

Seriously everyone here is so much fun and has something good to add. We come from all walks of life...It makes things interesting. Like Shelley eating a small child yesterday :)

Terri

awwww you guys!!!! I love you all, too!!! What wonderful friends I have found here :)

Oh, Terri. It was Wednesday that I ate the small child. Yesterday it was only a small household pet, but it went down so fast, I could only tell it had four legs.;)

I have not had a hot tamale either. What do they taste like?

I want in on that group hug!!

((((((((((group hug))))))))))!!!!!!!

Shelley hasn't had a hot tamale but she ate a small child?!? What did I miss?!?

Do you think a case of Hot Tamales would get stopped at customs? Oh wait, if you and I send it, it wouldn't even make it to the post office!! :p

Angie

Sabrina-they are chewey cinnamon candy and I know they must have them at your local grocery store. Look and see then report back to Angie and I :)

Now excuse me I must go see if my dog is here.

Terri

This is truly an awesome place with awesome people. So much inspiration and support. I couldn't get through my day without coming here.

Catherine

It is such an awesome place! I've learned so much here. There are too many people to list who have inspired me. I love that there are other mommies on this forum too. It's great to see how you manage family life, fitness, work, etc. into your daily life.

Have a great day everyone! TGIF!:) :)
