Shakin' like a chihuaha!

Hi guys! I did S/H triceps & biceps this morning and I increased the weight for most of the moves... wow! I'm starting to feel that DOMS this afternoon (especially after doing cardio kicks yesterday... oh my lats!) I've been doing this series for about 3 months now (rotating with PS, PH, MIS) and getting fabulous results. I love having bi's & tri's! Those slow tricep dips are killer... but don't you feel so strong when you do 'em?

anyway, just another testament to S/H!!

I love the Bi&Tri section the best too! My elbow starts shaking in lying tricep extensions and I either lower the weight or do that one arm cross thing. My right elbow aches quite a bit ( old thing from my newbie fast and light days )and makes the rest of triceps a toughie. But I still love the series!

Absolutely! I just started my 1st S&H rotation this week and I am LOVING it! I'm not sore, but I can feel "something" going on with my muscles, like a tightness or something maybe, but not soreness. And EVERYBODY was right about not needing very heavy weights for this series. The slow reps are so slow, they completely take momentum out of the move and you're just using your own pure strength/muscle and it makes a DIFFERENCE! I use to be so proud of myself when I worked up to a 15#db for kickbacks, but for S&H, I was almost crying by the 3rd set using an 8#db! I thought my muscle was going to burst straight through the skin at one point it was sooooo tight. And the pump lasted for a while afterwards too! But S&H is a wonderful workout, and I know I'll miss it when I rotate off of it in 3 weeks. But like Terminator, "I'll be back!"

I know! When I first did this tape, and I heard cathe switching to 5# for her second set of kickbacks, I was like "what? cathe using 5#s??" but I totally understand why! 'Cuz that second set starts burning right away!

I laughed when I saw your post...I did the same tape at 5:00a.m. I have been the series for only two weeks, and I was shocked when I found I couldn't even do the amount of weight I used the last time I did the workout. "Shakin like a chihuaha" is right on. My muscles were doing just that. I am not sore, but I know that I worked them hard.
