Sexy Older Men

Hey, Trevor....Goldie Hawn is 55, and she looks GREAT! Cher would look good is she'd dress more in a style befitting her age, but then, she's Cher, and I guess she has to BE Cher.

Like, dang, woman, cut your hair! She is in good shape, however. I'm sure that Cathe will be a fox when she gets older. Cheryl Tiegs still looks good, too. There's hope for us all even if we can't afford plastic surgery. I was lucky in that I have good genes and that both of my parents aged well. My father looks really good for his age, which is 75 now. He has a 76 year old girlfriend ( a high school sweetheart), and their secret is staying active. You can't catch either of them at home.

Sean Connery is another oldie but goodie, I agree.

LOL..Trevor...

You better hide buddy;-)...I don't think Geena is 50..but I'm sure she wouldn't mind the compliment:). Did you know she tried out for the Olympics in Archery? She's a top contender in the country...and she's pretty new to the sport. I think that is sooo cool.

And Rachel..I used to follow her career while in high school. She was my role model when I was lifting back then, the woman has class. I remember a special show about her back when she was on top of the game and she demonstrated doing a one leg squat...free standing with no help with balance or support. She just lowered down into a perfect right angle on the standing leg and had the other one straight out in front. She did this with so much ease..it was incredible. It's something that has always stayed with me. That, and she stuck to her guns and avoided using 'roids..which eventually squeezed her out of competition..gotta admire her that.

As far as sexy older men...geesh..can I pick my DH;-)..OK, that would be lame. How about Harvey Keitel in the Piano..best sensual movie ever made. Is he over 50? If not, ask me in 30 years and I'll tell ya Ricky Martin:7

Hey Honey!
You mentioned 3 more that qualify as sexy! I'll take Cheryl Tiegs out of those 3 because I remember being infatuated with her while growing up....along with Kathy Ireland. Kathy seems very thin to me though. Cher is not my type although I do enjoy watching her in concert. She was on last night in fact! Another one I like is Suzanne Somers. Once again my list just keeps growing! lol

RE: Yes!

Hey Lorrie!!
Mick is THE man!...next to Steven Tyler!!! lol :) I like the Stones but Aerosmith are my fave hard rockers! Do you workout to the Stones?
Trevor :) :-jumpy

RE: LOL..Trevor...

Think I'm in trouble huh? ;-)
Glad yu remembered Rachel McLish. She was in a bodybuilding mag I saw last fall and man she looks great. Not as chiseled as she was during competitions of course but she has great definition. She's a great fitness role model.
Geena is a great athlete......she really looked like a ballplayer in "League of Their Own".
Did you see Ricky on the rock hall of fame inductions? He put Ritchie Valens in.
Hope the workouts are going well Nancy.
Trevor :) :-jumpy

I'm with you on Nicholas Cage and Tom Hanks!! Yummmy :)
Also, I'm not sure of his name, but is it Gabriel Byrne (???), kind of 40's/ 50's looking, in movies I can't for the life of me remember at the moment--, oh, wait, that movie Stigmata--didn't like the movie, but sure liked him. Even yummier!
Also, who was the guy in To Kill A Mockingbird (what a great movie, by the way). I definitely thought he was a hottie ;-)

RE: Smokey Robinson

I agree - definitely see Smokey if you get the chance! My husband and I saw Smokey this past February which is what started my infatuation - I was just swooning all over the place :) I've always loved old Motown but was more of a hard rock-n-roll fan. Now, I just can't get enough of Smokey. His voice is so incredible. I hope he's still touring when he's 80!
Also, if anyone is looking to add some spice to their romantic lives just listen to Smokey's 1999 CD "Intimate". There is a song on it called "Tu Me Besas Muy Rico" which is Spanish for "You Kiss Me So Good" - no exaggeration, this song is so hot it will start a fire in your bedroom! ;-)

RE: Hi Trevor

Yep, Definitely like to work out to the Stones (Cathe sneaks a little "Brown Sugar" in PS BBA) I love the song "Get Off Of My Cloud" and the beginnig riff of "Satisfaction" always gets me pumped! I also like working out to Guns N'Roses and Zeppelin when I want to push myself to the limit and release stress during my workout and I find U2 really motivational. And you're right, Aerosmith is awesome too!

Gregory Peck was Atticus Finch, I think. He was super cool in that one.

Paul Newman STILL looks great! He's in his mid-seventies.

How could we forget?

ROD STEWART!!! Rugged? YES! But, we think you're sexy, Rod!!

Okay, now THIS will REALLY date me, but do any of you remember The Lettermen? I'm not talking to you 20 & 30 year olds. I made my hubby take me to a couple of their concerts in our early 20's. I USED to think they were hot! What was I thinking?

I was also reposting to add Paul Newman to my list, but I see HB remembered him for us.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Robert Redford. Aging...(aren't we all), but he looks great!

Your-Friend-In-Fitness, DebbieH :)

RE: Harrison Ford

Is definitely hot! There is something really attractive about
Aron Neville too. Must be the voice. Chuck Norris is totally cute and such a great person.

Now in a few years George Clooney will be at the TOP of my list. That man just gets better looking each year! Nicholas Cage is totally sexy especially in Conair. I love the convict look on him! Keifer Sutherland is mine. That is all I have to say about him.

I have to agree with Nancy....Ricky Martin is a hottie but he's a young one. :)

Patrick Stewart

Not only is he older, but he doesn't have any hair. I would pay good money to listen to him read the phone book. He made Star Treck TNG worth watching.

RE: Patrick Stewart

I agree with Patrick Stewart, and when he was done with the phone book, I'd have him start on a big dictionary!

RE: LOL..Trevor...

Okay Nancy, your comment on Ricky Martin got me thinking about the other Latin men that I think are Simpatico!! Have you seen the flick Dance Wtih Me starring Vannessa Williams and Chayenne? Chayenne a Mexican actor played the incredibly sexy and adorable Rafael in that movie. Some great Salsa dancing in that movie too. Deb D.

RE: How could we forget?

Dancin Debbie!

I remember The Lettermen! I used to think they were cute too! Kinda on the rugged Pretty boy side...and those lush harmonies. Robert Redford...ah yes, in Out Of Africa. One of my absolute favorite films. I watch it every year right around the time of my birthday. I just love the cinematography in that film, it just stirs something in me---and the soundtrack is grogeous. Oh, I forgot, this thread is about sexy older men. Hmmmm, think I'll go find my Out of Africa soundtrack and cook something. Have a wonderful day Debbie!

RE: Al, Robert & Dustin

LAST EDITED ON Apr-03-01 AT 05:28PM (Est)[p]Hey, we forgot Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro and Dustin Hoffman :)
Oh - and Steve Martin too!

RE: Al, Robert & Dustin

Steve Martin is cool, and so is Martin Short, who I think just turned 50. He is sooooo talented.

I loved Steve Martin in "Rozanne" and "Pennies from Heaven."

Confession time: I absolutely LUV Ray Stevens! I actually had one of my ex-husbands give me some of his videos for one of my birhdays. I think he has a theater in Branson, MO. "Don't look, Ethel!"

RE: Al, Robert & Dustin

Okay~

Just thought of another...As a little girl, I remember having a huge crush on the late Bill Bixby and the actor that played the younger Doctor on Marcus Welby m.d.~Entirely tooo many hormones flowing through our vains. Must be all that excersise.
