Second Hotel Update # 2!!! Please read trippers!

I just talked to Mike at The Ramada Plaza. He has it all set up for us to book at the Radisson right next door. Unfortunately, the lowest price he has been able to negotiate is $99.00/nite at this point and he said he is STILL trying to get it down to at least $89.00. If you are staying THREE nights, they WILL give you the $89.00 price/nite. As of now, ALL booking will take place at The Radisson because they now have a block of rooms just for us. Their number is:

Please indicate when you call that you are with the SNM-Cathe Roadtrip Group. He thinks that they offer a free breakfast also but if they don't, he said that ALL are Welcome for breakfast at the Ramada. He said he might be able to get a lower price at another hotel but that it wouldn't be walking distance from The Ramada Plaza. (We are trying very hard to keep us all together so we can hang out later in the evenings at the hotels without everyone having to drive. Okay, BOOK now! I hope this makes sense!

After just a wee bit of confusion they've reserved my room. Interstingly, they took my credit card # but did not ask for any contact info, or for that matter what kind of room I wanted. But I have a confirmation number which I will be tattooing on my forehead when I leave work today so I guess it's all good.

That sounds a bit bizarre. I would recommend that you call them back to confirm your reservation (just to verify that everything is good). Also, while on the phone, confirm the rate and the type of room you want.

Hi Lorrayne! I secured a room for myself, vplan (Valery) & sanchiababy (Sanchia) at the Radisson. I received a confirmation # but no confirmation as of yet as to the price but the clerk did put the $99 price down. It isn't in their system as of yet. However, I'll call back tomorrow morning confirming everything.

PS: At the Ramada the clerk took my credit card info, my name & work number down but never called me back. I just went ahead & made my reservation after Debbie's post to BOOK NOW.

Hi Road Trip Coordinators,

I was able to reserve my room earlier today at the Radisson. There was some confusion about the rate, but everything else seemed fine. She told me that I can always get the group rate changed later, but it was better to go ahead and get the reservation now.

I made my reservation for the Radisson. Now I need to cancel the one I have at the Fairfield Inn. I asked about breakfast at the Radisson and the answer was no. NO BREAKFAST!!! I will starve! LOL! Just kidding! Whoever is staying at the Ramada will need to sneak me over some food. Hehehe. Who is staying at the Radisson? I know I can't be the only one.:)
 
My husband and I are staying at the Radisson. I guess if ya snooze ya lose with the Ramada. I was out of town this weekend and didn't check my email til last night and the Ramada was already booked x( . Oh well, $60 more, but at least it's available.

The manager at the Ramada Plaza has graciously offered breakfast to all Radisson bookees! He THOUGHT they offered a breakfast but if not, he said to come on over!! How nice of him! Sabrina, the price at the Radisson is only $32.00 more. He said he is still trying to get it down but doesn't know if it that happen. Should it happen, I will post right away and let you all know but for now it is $99.00 a nite and $89 a nite if you stay MORE then two nites. Okay, I think that is it. Can't wait to see you all! (I'm thrilled he worked out the lowered discount at this point!)

Thanks for all your hard work! I really appreciate it! I paid the $89 a night since I am staying Thurs-Mon. I was going to pay $110 a night at the Fairfield. We at the Radisson will just be coming over for breakfast at the Ramada. Just save us something! LOL!:D

Oooooooh Yummy!! That does sound good. I wonder what they will have. I never stay anywhere so I have no idea what there is. I lead a sheltered life!;-)

ETA: Do you have the address of the hotel? I would like to look up driving directions. Do they have a pool? I need to come prepared. Thank you!!:)

Here is a link to the hotel. It looks beautiful!! Yes, they have a heated outdoor pool. It also says they have a continental breakfast??? The address is at the top of the page!

Debbie--are you sure that's our hotel? Mt. Laurel is pretty far from Glassboro.......

Wait I just checked the phone number & it is a Mt. Laurel exchange.........how can that be? Very confused here.

I was told no continental breakfast when I made my reservation. It is available for the Concierge club level rooms though.
