Saw Harry Potter Today

I took my 7 1/2 year old to see the new Harry Potter movie. It's great but very dark and creepy. We thought it was the best yet. BTW, those kids are really growing up. Even Daniel Radcliffe is getting muscles on his arms! Must be watching Cathe:) :)

My friends and I were going to watch it too, but the tickets sold out rediculously quick. They went to the theater at 4 p.m. trying to get the 6 p.m. show, but they could only get the 10:30 p.m. show. And while they were there waiting for me to ask my DH if he wanted to go, the 10:30 p.m. show sold out too. Crazy...

I'm really out to lunch,.....I had no idea the new HP movie was even close to being released! Where have I been? I'll take my kids next week. I prefer to avoid the crush.

We loved it too! Best one yet!! We've been to opening night for all four now, and the last two I've bought tickets online about a week ahead of time. The whole weekend at our local area theater sold out earlier in the week.

I went on opening day to one of the earliest shows. As I was standing in line, I noticed on the marquee that all of the evening shows were sold out!!!! BTW, it was a fantastic movie, the best yet IMO.

Nancy, yes Hermione is very pretty in this movie, especially when she's all dressed up for the Yule Ball. They finally have her hair under control so you can actually see her lovely eyes. Ginny also looks much more grown-up in this one and you can see what a beauty she will be one day. It's a lot of fun watching the kids "grow up" as the movies progress!

I can't wait to see this one. Of all the books I've read (I haven't read the latest one), this one was by far my favorite! :)

we saw it friday at the imax.... it was great on the HUGE screen.... i loved the movie.. even with all the stuff they had to leave out.... i can't believe the people on other forums dissing it so bad cuz of what was left out (i.e. winkie, sphinx) if they had included everything that movie woulda been 8 hours long!

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

I'm glad to read this as I was skeptical to take my 5 & 7 yo's as the reviewer's are saying how this movie is much scarier/darker themed so not appropriate for under 12's.

I have not read the books my kids have and they love to see the movies. I like the movies because the special effects and the scenery are always so great. I was disappointed in the last movie however. It did not have the level of special effects/scenery that the previous movies have had.

Although I do love that they are using Dawn French as the Fat Lady in the portrait. Is she back in this movie also?
