Here we go -- somebody stops me with this more weights thing that I've been doing lately before I get injured!

20 minNordictrack
ME abs
S&H shoulders
CX shoulders
Body Max shoulders

Today I definitely won't be able to lift the hair dryer!

Sounds like you fried your shoulders :)

Today was a running day. For some reason I wasn't running but floating and I accidently did 7.2K today. Never ran that much before. And all in my usual turtle's pace ofcourse.

I felt so great and energised I added Boot Camp Lower&Upper body premix. Never done this one before, but it felt really good.

Ended my workout with a stretch.

I did 45 min. on the bike on the trainer, kinda late workout because 2 of my 3 boys have swimming lessons at the Y now every Saturday so I have to get up to take them. My weight is still down, here's to hoping that it will come down somemore.

Did an OLD Firm tape this morning for a change of pace. What happened to the Firm anyway? Their new tapes just don't seem to be as good, but I don't have very many of them. I have the first three old tapes and still use them occasionally. They still offer a good workout when I use heavier weights.
 
Well Mari....now you have me convinced on the not as much cardio and more weights trend! At least until I start marathon training....:)...I did SJP and then S&H triceps & biceps. I will still do my long sunday runs though. Sounds like and awesome shoulder routine!...:)...Carole
 
That's cool....shoulders are my favorites too...another poster here told me about the Malibu marathon. The first one they have had, it's in Dec. I grew up in Southern Cal, not far from Malibu so it would be fun. I do miss the ocean. I'm doing a half next sunday at the coast in Northern Cal ( the redwoods )I am hoping it goes well....it is so fun reading all these workouts...:)...Carole
 
I did S&H with my DH and 10 year old DD. I'm really glad to have them exercising too but it sometimes gets a little distracting with their comments. DH: "One more, right Cede?" we had 4 reps left. DD (after triceps, when Cathe is starting ab work): "Cathe is doing MORE? Oh yeah, I remember this. She goes on forever!" DH (at the advanced ab exercise that he couldnt do) "They're all doing it. Even Dawn can." He got a scowl for that. Then I did 20 minutes on the Treadmill while we watched Finding Nemo.

Mari, do you find your strength increasing in your shoulders when you combine those workouts? I havent increased my weights for them in a long time and wonder if that change would help me.

Dawn, I noticed that I got much stronger by doing S&H. So because I'm stronger I'm able to do more shoulders -- and I love to do shoulders! Plus the sleeveless season is coming soon!;-)
