Hi,

The pictures for the new workouts are great! Cathe and the gang look wonderful. So for todays workout I will be doing abs, abs, abs; and rhythmic step and then a 1.5 h relaxing (but strenuous and sweaty) yoga class.

Hi everyone,

I assume that they are done filming Muscle Max and High Step Challenge because I think it would be a pain for them to do their hair and makeup the same so they probably are just filming one workout a day for now. Just a guess:)

Not much motivation to workout this morning - I have KPC and a yoga workout on the agenda so I'm here finding the motivation to do it. I think I will put the Muscle Max picture on my desktop - Don't think I need anymore motivation than that!

Also, does anyone else feel a bit obsessive-compulsive when it comes to Cathe and working out? Just wondering because I think my husband thinks I'm crazy. :) }( ;-)

Yippee an extra hour of sleep tonight or an extra hour of Cathe-who knows?:)

Good morning! This morning I did The Viper and ME abs. I had a great workout, but I sure was not in the mood to do one! I did it anyway, and am glad I did. I told myself there is "only" four intervals; that's not so hard, is it??

Wendy, yes I think I am a bit compulsive about my Cathe workouts. It takes extreme situations for me to skip a scheduled workout. I just enjoy it so much, and I feel sooooo good for the rest of the day. Sundays are my rest days, and I find them the most difficult day of the week. I feel sluggish and unenergetic all day long, and am so relieved to go to bed; day's over. What I really need is something interesting to do on Sundays, instead of moping around the house all day. And KPC will leave you feeling awesome. It works the muscles soooo good, without alot of jarring impact. I'm still feeling yesterday's KPC in my hips, lower back and hamstrings, but in a good way.

I have set myself a challenge of sorts. I have created a rotation whereby over the course of 5 weeks I will use each of Cathe's workouts at least once, with the exception of her new beginner/intermediate workouts. I divided all my workouts into their respective "series", of obvious groupings, and devoted a week to each series.

It goes like this:
week1: Intensity Series
week2: Rhythmic Step+/ Power Hour+ dvds
week3: Body Blast Series (I can't wait for this week!!!)
week4: CTX Series, Cardio Kicks, Circuit Max, Slow & Heavy Series
week5: Pure Strength Series, High Step Training Advanced, and cardio "Stand Alones" (Step -Works, -Max, -Jam, -Fit, -Heat, Mega Step Blast, PowerMax)

I've managed to keep all the workouts 90 minutes or less, with a few exceptions of 120 minutes (cardio and weight work). I'm looking forward to this! The Viper I did this morning was the kick-off. Sunday is a rest day, then on Monday I will be doing the Gauntlet.

Hi all,

Did my 10K run with son no. 1, with only two 1-min walk breaks, then added ME UB split. Won't be long till we will run it in one go.

I didn't eat very well yesterday and skipped breakfast this morning. Not a good idea if you've got a long, hard workout planned, believe you mex(

Finally got myself a chin up bar, the kind you stick between two walls or in your door frame. We walk underneath it every time we go to the kitchen or back to the living room. Guess you know how often we use it:) And that means all of us, even everyone who visits :) I'm up to five pull ups in a row now.

Got to go, fill up on carbs and all the other good stuff.

Hi all,

I did Body Max step portion only with abs and I was sweatin' buckets. Wasn't a pretty site, I am sure.:+ :7 But it felt good.

I am pretty sure that my problem with my digestive tract revolves around soy and dairy. I ate some things yesterday that put my body in a tailspin and I was a hurtin' puppy;( :( !! So today I will NOT eat those things again. I need to go looking for a non dairy, non soy protein powder. Maybe our local health food store has something, I will have to give them a call.

I did 40 min on the elliptical listening to Queen today -- what fun... after that ME lower body. Enjoy the day, and Happy Halloween to everyone! Mari

Today I did IMAX2, PLB stability ball legs, and PUB abs. Woo hoo, that was a great workout}( :7 !!

Wendy, uh yeah I think I'm a little obsessive compulsive with Cathe workouts.....I went out to dinner (great Japanese restaurant!) with friends last night and while I had a fabulous time with everyone and the food was amazing, I was thinking I could have been working out with Cathe!! Yeah that is just a little insane:eek: ! I was just going to preorder Kickmax today but after seeing those muscle max pictures, I'll be throwing that one in as well}( }( !!

Annette, glad to see you are able to target exactly what is bothering your stomach...I sent a private message the other day but i'm not sure if you got it...that was my first time sending one!

Tomorrow I will probably do PUB/PLB combo (haven't done that in a while) and maybe RS.

Sandy, I got it, and I read it, I am just not sure I am ready to spend that kind of money. Thank you though for taking the time to send me the private message, I don't get them very often,LOL!! I will let you know what I end up doing. I still haven't deleted your PM yet so I still have all the info you gave me.
 
Annette, oh good so I did it right...hee hee!!! Believe me I totally understand about the money thing! Maybe your local health food store might carry another brand meeting those criteria and a little easier on the pocketbook, but at least it's food for thought....no pun intended of course;) :) !! Please feel free to email me anytime if you should have any other questions!

Wow...good workouts today....I did MIS shoulders, biceps and triceps and was going to do KPC but worked at my Moms instead stacking and splitting wood...maybe a mini workout in itself! YUK!!! Don't like this time change much...;( ....Carole
 
Obsessive compulsive? Cathe-ites? Oh hell yes. LOL

My DH doesn't suspect I'm crazy, he knows it!

Had to work waaaaaaay too long today. Had 3 emergencies in one Saturday. Bummer. Didn't feel like working out, but finally did anyway. I basically slept through it though. I guess it's better than nothing.

I tackled The Gauntlet for the first time today and added a mini ab marathon from Ab Hits.

I had been been reluctant to use my Terminator DVD until I became fairly comfortable with all of the Intensity Series.

I loved the Gauntlet and although MIS is on tomorrows workout schedule, I just may have to try The Viper!

I have reached the point that I have so many Cathe tapes and DVDs that choosing which one to do everyday is a workout in itself....I am looking forward to the November rotation so that I don't have to choose.
