Sage Tea

Does anyone drink this? Is it safe? I read it was good for cleansing the liver, especially if you've eaten lots of fast food/junk in the past.

Thanks

I've never tried it, but I use sage as a seasoning.

I'm not sure about its safety, but it seems safer than a lot of other things, especially since it's commonly used for flavoring.

I'm not sure if I like the flavor enough to want to drink just-sage tea, but whatever floats your boat!

(It's making me think of stuffing: vegan stuffing mix, with added onions, celery, chopped apples, sunflower seeds and--a new addition last year---goji berries. Yum!)

Hmmmm...don't know if that sounds very good. I read it in a women's magazine. It was a ? asking about not being able to lose weight and the dr answering suggested a tsp of sage per day or drinking the tea. If I don't use it in cooking, I'm wondering what I could add it to.

According to the box:
Vitamins B6, B12, Chromum, Choline, Elethero, Garcinia, Inositol and Stevia as well as Hibiscus, Rosehips, Hawthorn beeries, Blackbeery leaves and cayenne.

Also Target had Cinnamon Spice Tea on sale. TJ Maxx/Marshalls, also have a great selection on teas. I enjoy the variety pack from Celestial Seasonings as well. A friend of mine recommended Red Tea, I found one from Twinnings that I enjoy. I brew my (regular) tea by the gallon unsweetened (a major traversity in the south!) but I also add a few cinnamon spice or the red tea bags to my brew.

My daughter enjoys green tea. Hope this helps. A-

Sage tea is great, If you are breastfeeding it great for drying you up. I have not heard about it being used for dieting, but I have used it for drying up.
