S&H Shoulders with Triceps and Biceps?

Hi All,

I wanted your opinions on doing the S&H shoulder workout on the same day as the S&H Tri and Bi workout. I will probably omit 1 set from each exercise to make the workout less time consuming.
I'm trying to develope some rotations and I was playing with this idea. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

This is exactly what I am thinking of doing. I am starting tomorrow back on the Slow and Heavy after 10 weeks of Pure Strength and MIS. I wanted to do S&H 3 consecutive days so this is what I plan to do (unless someone has a better idea):

Day 1 Back,Chest, Cardio
Day 2 Legs
Day 3 Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps
Day 4 Cardio
Day 5 Power Hour or MIS
Day 6 Cardio
Day 7 Rest (whew!)

I want to work each body part two times per week. I thought that doing shoulders right after chest might be too much since anytime you work chest you use some shoulder muscles as well.

So I will put S&H legs in between to give the upper body a day to recover and then plunge back in with a killer Day 3.

Any suggestions out there? I am always open to new information.

Marlene,

We are thinking along the exact same lines. I know that my anterior delts are always fatigued after the chest workout and I really don't want to work shoulders the following day, but I would like to find a way to work in an additional total body weight workout in the same week. I don't really think that I necessarily have to add a strength workout to see gains, however, I would like my body to stay conditioned for endurance type muscular workouts while I am doing a S&H rotation. For some reason, those endurance workouts kill me, much more so than slow and heavy training and I really don't want to completely eliminate them from my training for any length of time for fear of the discomfort that I might face when resuming this type of training (yes, I'm a wimp).

Thanks for your ideas for a rotation!
