S&H Rotation -is this 1 good?

Wondering what you pros think of this S&H rotation??? I am getting burned out and not gaining a lot of muscle. I have been really bad on my diet the past couple days. I have lost some weight but am not seeing the muscle gain or definition. I am thinking working on strength and being able to lift heavier wts. might help the results with endurance??

Figure mixing it up a bit might be good. I need some cardio because I still have quite a bit of fat to lose.

Mon - S&H Legs & Shoulders(morning); Step class at club in evening
Tues - Cardio Kicks or other Cathe step tape
Wed - S&H chest & back
Thurs- Body Max (2 cardio/interval sections only)
Fri - S&H biceps & triceps + 1/2 hour cardio tbd
Sat - IMAX
Sun - Cathe Step Tape
 
You're not allowing for a rest day, which is not good. If you think you're burned out now, you'll REALLY get burned out without a rest day.

You could safely eliminate your Sunday tape and just rest, and still have plenty with what's left.

You will probably find that if you try to get a better handle on your eating you won't need as much exercise to see results. Do you keep a food journal? Easy food substitutions can make the job a whole lot easier without requiring you to feel like you're starving. May I suggest, again, Dr. Shapiro's Picture Perfect Weight Loss as a good reading source.

I am not going to comment on your rotations... I am not good with it myself. I just want to add that you might want to put a rest day every week. May be doing something light like stretching, yoga or pilates (though I am slowly finding out that they are not my style!) Rest does a body good!

OOH..that is very optimistic...cardio might be a little intense for a S&H rotation. But, try it and see. Any sign of fatigue and I would cut out two cardios, already including the rest day that should already be there( Thanks, Honeybunch!)

Let us know how it goes!! I LOVE Cardio Kicks but cringe whenever I see it back to back with a Chest/Shoulder/Back tape. I don't think it classifies as a "day off" for those muscles, but ain't it fun!!! I know it is impossible to work it in any other way, but if I am looking to gain size I do not put these two together..I would do Legs MONDAY, CK Tuesday, and then cardio only WED. Some weeks, I work in CK as my upper body tape. I really think the drills should go down as weights and not cardio. But that is just me...
