S & H and Bulk

Hi All!

I just have a general opinion question for those of you who have used the S & H series. Would you recommend it for someone who is short (5 feet) and wants to avoid bulking up or looking too stocky. I tend to stick to endurance type workouts because I am afraid of getting too bulky because of my height. I am looking to lean out, instead of gain mass. Please let me know your opinions!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Amy--

Do you like the results you get from your endurance workouts, or are you not seeing the strength gains you were hoping to see?

If you don't think you are getting the type of results from the endurance workouts, I would definitely try the S & H series.
It is a fabulous series, and I have had phenomenal results with it. I am short and kind of stocky, but I didn't find that I got bulky at all. (Then again, everybody is different.) I just saw a lot of muscle where I didn't have it before.

Good luck,
Lynn

Hi amy

I'm 5'2" and have been using S&H for a year.. I have gained quite a bit of lean muscle and not bulk at all. I use 8,10,12,15,20 lb dumbells which I don't think is enough to get bulky... but I am definitely more cut, defined and muscular then I ever was. I love this series!

I just started using the pyramid series for a change-of-pace... I LOVE IT!

Hey Amy!

I'm short too (almost 5 2) I love the results from S&H. Definetly I've gained definition but not bulked up at all. However I dont use barbells and my heaviest dumbell is 15 - but I REALLY REALLY want to buy 20s. I'm out of work now so I just have to justify the purchase.

I just finished my 3rd week of S&H rotation - since I've got plenty of time now I've also adding 3 ctx cardio and LL (my focus area)

Think you'll love the results!
