Rythmic Step

I just pulled out Rythmic Step for the first time yesterday...what a fun workout!!! I am looking forward to doing it again today. I don't have all the moves down yet but I don't like tapes that I can do the first try. Must be one reason I love Cathe so much. Her workouts aren't boring & repetitive. If there's anyone who has this workout but not done it yet....you're missing out. What a fun routine!:D

I agree! My first Cathe workout was Step Blast, and I thought that was great...and then I did Rhythmic Step, and found a new favorite! I taped my copy off of FitTV, and they have snipped out big segments to fit it into the timeslot (so I'm probably missing 15-20 minutes of the workout), but I just love it! My favorite routine is at the end, but of course, that is where it is snipped the most, so I don't get the best part of the workout (the challenge). So, it looks like I am going to have to buy the DVD very soon so I can enjoy the entire workout. :)
 
Okay...so I am guilty. I have had R.Step since it came out but it seems so hard. I have a hard time getting all the moves down and then I get frustrated. I was frustrated with Step Blast too so I started chunking the workout into small pieces so I wouldn't be overwhelmed. I have never finished the whole workout yet but I will. R. Step seems even harder to me!

This is another favorite of mine! (I actually love all of Cathe's step tapes.) :) I love the Rhythmic Step Challenge and often do it a couple of times through! It is so much fun! :) :)

I love this workout too. It's different from her others in the dance end of things but she sneaks that intensity in there! Susan
 
RS is my absolute favourite step workout. SO much fun! It took me awhile to learn it, but it was worth it.

Like Jo, I will sometimes do the Challenge twice through. It's cool doing a whole routine with no instruction or breakdown.

You all are making me want to do RS tomorrow! I was going to do something a bit longer, but now I'm really wanting to do RS... Choices, choices...;)))

Ach! How can you stand the music enough to do the challenge twice through? Don't get me wrong, I love the workout, and find the choreography quite fun, but by time we get half way through the challenge, I'm shouting "Enough already!!" So monotonous!

I've learned this WO really good 'cause I've had this the longest other than CTX. So now I really enjoy it when I want a good workout but not too draining or that I really have to focus on. I can get pretty "dancy" now. This is also why I bought the Original Step So I could get int the Flying Angels & other moves. I used to workout on a shorter Reebok step.

However I let a friend borrow it & she brought it back the next day. She said she had to really focus. I think maybe the first few times you have to just learn the moves & really heed her cues, but once you learn it, its fun. You know, I don't really care for her Classics too much. Their slower to get going. So I pull them out rarely.

Just my 2cents.

Ditto Ruth! It's funny though, by the time I'm on the second round of the challenge, I'm not paying attention to the music, I'm just loving the workout!
