Does anyone here have the N-Gage shoes? I have the Rhythm II, but need to replace them soon. I have a AA foot, so I've used arch supports in the Rhythms to help my foot fit in better. My feet are hurting a bit after working out - I believe I need to replace the shoes, even though they look new on the outside (from working out indoors - about 3 -4 months old (sound right to be replacing them so soon?)

Please tell me what you like or don't about the N-Gage or any other brand you may recommend for high impact hi/lo and stepping (Cathe workouts).

TIA

I just bought the n gage studio on ebay. I like them alot. I only wear my sneakers indoors too, they last forever. I wonder why yours are so worn after only a few months. I would contact Ryka if I were you & complain to them. I also wear Rhythm II & Stylus. I bought them all from walkinghouse sue or something like that on Ebay.

I have the N-Gage Studio shoes. When I looked at the RYKA site those were the only "crosstrainers" that they had available. I guess they phased out the others. I wanted the Enlight 2, which are the ones Cathe wears in these new workouts, but I couldnt' find them anywhere.

Back to the question: I have problems with my arches too, I usually wear an arch support in my sneakers. I've only worn the N-Gages for a week but so far so good. No extra support needed. That's a first because it usually takes a long time for me to break in sneakers. These have felt comfortable from the start. They fit high, so they rub against the inside of my ankle when I do side lat moves, like in hi-lo or kickboxing, but I think once I break them in that problem should go away.

The verdict is still out on these because they're brand new, but I like them so far.

I am on my third pair of N-Gage shoes, and I like them because they are higher on the ankle and give more support. I wear custom made orthotics in them, and, because, I do cardio six or seven days a week, much of it high impact, I replace them every three to four months. They are great for step, hi/lo, and kick-boxing, and I just completed sixty minutes of Christi's Hi-Lo Heaven in them.

Thanks for the opinions! I think I will be trying a pair of these. Also very insterested in the n-gage instructors as well. I do a lot of high intensity, cardio 5 - 6 days a week and therefore I wear down my shoes on the inside. Wearing them indoors they look new on the outside, but inside's a different story.
