running with sore hamstrings

I run 20 - 30 miles a week in the morning. In the evening I use the hardcore extreme dvds for weight training, alternating lower body and upper body every day. Sometimes on the day after a really good leg workout my legs are VERY sore. Most of the time I run any way. But would it be better to take an easy day and do rythmic step or something easier, or should I just do upper body and take a day off.
 
As a runner, I'd say if the day after a weight workout your legs are sore, DON'T run! Do some stretching and yes maybe some step if it isn't too painful until your legs adjust to the running and weights...:)....There is also a Runners check-in in the Check-in and Challenges forum.
