Cathe, I have all your tapes and have and am 39 and my routine is usually to mix it up all week, from kickboxing, step, interval training and weight training. I recently purchased a treadmill and have started running. I have found that I love to run and have been doing 4 1/2 miles, in 42:00 minutes, 1 lap to wup and 1 lap to cool down and 4 running-well the weight(even though I'm not heavy)5'4" and 120lbs., has been coming off in my problem areas, my lower body and I love it. What would be a happy median, to keep losing weight in the bottom area, but not losing my muscle, as I did a lot of weight training before, but since running, have still been weight training but not 5 days a week, more like 2 or 3.
