Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing great and has a good day. Today the # on the scale was the lowest I've seen in a long long time. I have Tosca Reno and Bill Philips to thank for helping me clean up my eating. Last night's workout was Cardio Camp w/ Kimberly Spreen. I love that workout. Tonight will be Muscle Max or MIS. I did MIS last week so I probably should do MM, but I just love MIS so much that it's tempting!

Good morning everyone!

Tess - congrats on your positive numbers on the scale! Keep up the great work!

Today I am going to do IMAX and an ab routine...not sure which though. It's another lovely here in CT, so I have to go find something springy to wear to school...

Have a great day!!!
Josie

Good morning all!

Tess... OMG, your comment made my morning. You are too funny!! Congrats on your great weigh in. Keep up the great work!

Josie... enjoy this beautiful day! Funny, I was just having the same thoughts about something cute and springy to wear today. It's just too gorgeous outside!

This morning I am going to do B&G. I have been trying to do it once a week and am finding that my lower body has responded well. I need to lighten up on my weight for my lowers because I have a tendency to build alot of muscle in my legs, and I felt they were getting too big. It's a struggle to find the right mix sometimes, so I took out one heavy lower body per week and put in B&G. I was only doing it here and there for a while because it doesn't really use heavy weights. Again, this seems to be working and I am not yet turning into a big ball of mush w/o always doing heavy lower body, so I'll stick to this for a while.

Yesterday I was going to do MM, but when I got to the basement I suddenly decided I wanted to do both GS upper body workouts. So, I went with it. I also taught cardio/sculpt last night. So it was a good workout day. I admire all of you who stick to rotations. I am just too fickle for that. I do follow a routine, but I pretty much decide which exact workouts I am going to do the night before or that day. Maybe some day I will try a rotation. It is so disciplined to do that, and I would love to take the guesswork out, just don't know if I can!

Wow, I am rambling... that can only mean one thing... I am PROCRASTINATING! So, without further ADO, I am heading to the dungeon for the torture ( I mean, the basement for my fun, enjoyable workout)

Have a great day!!

Goodmorning ladies! I actually got up early this morning and tried out Cardio Coach 1 with my new bike. Awesome way to start the day! I am taking baby steps getting my eating back under control. I did very good yesterday minus 2 rolls. ;) Still managed to keep the calories in check though. Today was off to a great start and then dear DH got up and made me breakfast (eggs, bacon, & french toast). Oh well.... I'll make up for it the rest of the day by eating very clean and nutritious. ;) Now if I can just resist the rolls tonight...

Tess - Congrats on the low scale reading! That's always a good way to start the day. ;)

Josie - Our weather is very nice here in South Central PA too. DH thinks it's a little too warm too fast, but I'll take it!

Vicki - I really have to watch the lower body too. When I figure skated, I had these big "jumper" thighs and I HATED it. My thigh muscles just tend to bulk up quickly. I agree with you on rotations. I always map one out and then deviate from it the first day. I like the freedom of doing what I want to do when I want to do it. Instead of doing a rotation, I just tell myself that I need 3 cardio workouts each week, 1 full body weight, 2 ab workouts, 1 upper body, & 1 lower body. One of these days I will discipline myself enough to stick to a rotation!

Good morning all! I got the official results of my 5k I did last Sat. and I did better than expected for the chip time 23:52!! A new PR for me!! Okay, with that to inspire me I'm getting set for a long interval run today--7-8 miles and then BBC S&B:)

T- Fantastic news about the scale:7 That can really make one's day can't it? MIS is the only Cathe workout I've ever given away and you're making me regret it!

Josie- Have a great time with IMAX... a true sweaty classic!

Vickie- B&G is an awesome fanny toner! I'm with you on the rotations... in fact I've been successful at completing one only once! It was Cathe's 05 bootcamp rotation.

Liann- You were a figure skater??? If you have any pics of you I'd love to see them on the RT!!! You must have strong ankles... mine always KILLED me whenever I tried ice skating. A new bike??? How fun!!! What kind?

Michelle- Nice mishmosh workout today!

Belinda- Wow, you're coming in early for the RT! Gonna get in some site seeing? Great job on your run yesterday!

Time to get moving... have a good one!

Good morning everyone!!

How did this happen to me. Went to the movies hungry (WHICH YOU SHOULD NEVER DO) and ate a small popcorn byself. I never eat crap at the movies. SIGH!! Well, I will have to get an extra work out in to try to make it up.

Today I went to step morning class and I am getting up now to go to another one at lunch. The class at my work gym is a super fun one and my boss comes so I try not to miss it.

B Egg whites, toast strawberries
S Sunflower Seeds, Apple
L Lean Cusine, Baked Chips, Cup Cake
S Popcorn
D GOing to dinner at friends hopefully she has salad

Thanks for inspiring me today!!

KIM

ShellyC - Funny enough I always had really weak ankles! Professional figure skating boots are solid as steel though, so it really doesn't matter! :) If I wore the "cheaper" recreational ones or rentals, I would probably sprain something! I will have to dig out some old pics. I actually had the short "Dorothy Hamill" hair cut thing going on then! I really miss skating! :(

My bike is a Schwinn 212 I think. It's so quiet and smooth. You'd have no idea I was down there working on it - except for the heavy breathing!

Evening ladies!

I can hardly ever find time to check in mornings when I have to work. Seems like I'm always running behind.

Tess-Great job on the scale this morning. That would make my day.

Josie-This weather makes me want to go shopping for new clothes. Hope you found something springy.

Vicki-I am actually too anal NOT to follow a rotation. Wish I could be a little more flexible sometimes.

Liann-Have fun on your new bike. I have read so much about cardio coach on these forums; I downloaded one last night because I just had to see what they were like. I rarely ever even use my treadmill, lol! But I plan to tackle running again someday!

Michelle-That sounds like a fun workout. Enjoy.

Belinda-I did PUB as well this morning. I'm just starting to fell it. Hope I'm not too sore to punch for Kickmax tomorrow!

Shelly-Great job on your 5K!

Kim-I can not go to the movies without getting popcorn:)

Robin-That is so exciting that Shelley is coming to visit you. She seems like a blast. Hope you guys have good weather!

Talk to you tomorrow!

Road Trip Check-in

I am tired and hoping to get to bed early tonight, so this will be a quick check-in for me. I did the Low Max step premix this morning followed by the Muscle Max upper body push pull premix. I love both of these workouts.

I did not pack my meals and snacks today, so I went to a local sandwich shop for lunch and ate a cheese sandwich on homemade whole wheat bread with a huge pickle. I can tell that I am bloated from all the sodium in the pickle. Step away from the scale!

Kick Max is in my DVD player for tomorrow morning. I am not sure if I will do the workout as produced or stick with my favorite boot camp challenge premix. My boss is planning to be in the office all day, so this will be a great way to start my day.

My friend Rebecca is hooked on Nutiva hemp protein powder now thanks to my recommendation, and I cannot find it anywhere in town. She keeps buying all they have in stock!

I went to James Avery tonight and replaced a necklace that kept falling off because the clasp was broken. I was planning to have it repaired, but they offered me a nice discount on a replacement if I traded in the old one. I have a shiny new chain for my charm.

I am planning to start an intense 10-day cleaning project tomorrow. I am increasing my intake of fruits and veggies as well as spring water to cleanse my body, and I am hoping to clear a bunch of clutter out of my home. I have way too much stuff. Taming the paper tiger is my first priority. I also need to downsize my collection of workout shoes.

Blessings,
Heather B.
