RT Check-In Friday **2 WEEKS!!!!**

Cathlete
Good Morning:)

Can you believe how quickly the time has passed, I am excited beyond words. My only reservation is flying- I have not been on a plane in 13 years. If we have vacationed anywhere we have driven(it's a control issue I'm sure;-) ).
Anyway, I ended up guilting myself into working out yesterday, and BG's is on tap for today. This rotation has called for BG at least 1 time per week now, and if you can believe it I don't get dom's anymore from it :-(

Laura- welcome back!

Jacque-as soon as I read your post I clicked my way over to Oh My Bod...I was so tempted}(

Lara- hope you are able to get some rest:)

Have a wonderful day Ladies!

Michelle:)

G'Morning!! :)

I know, can you believe it...2-weeks away!! :)
I'm going out shopping this afternoon at lunch for some casual pants for our night out on Saturday :) I am soooo EXCITED!!!

Rest day for me yesterday, but I did decide to throw in 45 mins of Karen Voight, YogaSculpt. Had this DVD for years and finally did it, not bad!
Tonight is Pyramid Shoulder work 2x through/BM portion 1x, finshing up with a good Ab workout!

Michelle~ I'm sure you will be fine w/ the flight, you will be so excited you won't even be thinking straight ...hehe :) How long is your flight? But, I'm with you, I hate to fly! My BF is from Italy, I am not looking forward to the flight their when we decide to go to his parents, 13 hrs...

Hope you all have a Great Day!!

Hi everyone. No workout for me last night. I did get my walking in yesterday morning though so I'm not a copmplete slacker. Actually I was still sore from Muscle Max the day before yesterday. :)

Jacque - I bet the outfits are cute on. I am tempted to get the kickboxing one. I love the black with yellow and white trim. My DH would kill me though if I spent that much on workout clothes.

Michelle - I am not looking forward to the flight either...or driving from the airport.

Jennifer - I had the yogasculpt a lont itme ago. I really like KV.

Vickie - You crack me up too. :)

Lara - Enjoy your trip!

Laura - Welcome back! We missed ya.

Good morning!

Ahhh... two weeks. I can hardly stand it!

Question: What is this about some marathon on Friday night? We have to wear sneakers for this, right? I may just bring a bag that is big enough to hold a pair and throw them on when it's Marathon time. I guess they said it's not a real marathon, but something kind of fun... HMMM??

Jennifer: Your boyfriend is from Italy? Whereabouts? I have family from Italy ( Naples and Tuscanny) but have never been there yet. Lucky you gets to go!! Oh, and you are too funny... you took a rest day but still did 45 minutes of Yoga! I know what you mean by that because to me that would be a rest day as well but to alot of people ( maybe not us nuts!) 45 minutes of Yoga is considered their workout for a week! ( believe me, I know some of those! LOL!)

Michelle: Not to worry about the flight. Maybe take a little something like Benadryl to knock you out for a little while? How long is your flight? Make sure you call me if you need a rescue! ( I am a good one to talk, I won't drive the 3 hours by myself, I'm taking reinforcements! But remember... "do as I say, not as I do!" hehe... inside Myspace joke ) :D

Laura: Welcome home! I hope you bring pictures from africa, I'll bet you have some beautiful ones!

Jacque: I had three two year olds and then gave birth to another one. So I had 4 kids all under the age of three at once!! It's no wonder I don't seem to have all my brain cells anymore! I like your way better ( just kidding... I am pretty blessed)

Lara: Have a great trip and we'll see you when you on the RT! Wait, you're getting married, aren't you?? Best of luck, we want lots of pictures!!!

Yesterday I taught two classes. I am still pretty sore and I am going to teach a class in an hour. I think that will be it for today and tomorrow will probably be SS or PP . Today I'll just keep my class weights very light. I'll come home and do some SB abs as a little "bonus" .

BTW, I checked out those outfits at OMB. Gosh, I want to buy some so bad, but they are pretty expensive even though they are good quality. I just can't bring myself to spend that much on workout clothes. Target, here I come! Actually, I am not going crazy buying too much before the RT. I always seem to buy black anyway ( no matter how much I resist) and I have so much because I teach and work out at home, so you'll all just have to view my ever expanding old workout wardrobe of black, black, black!

Have a wonderful day ladies!

Yeah 2 weeks away!!!
Good morning girls:)
Last night I did KPC and Chest and tris from GS.
Late for work gotta go
BBL
Randi

Vicki..ahh yes, I love the black also, it goes with EVERYTHING! Take some benadryl?? Oh I see, you just want me all drugged up so I won't be in any shape to beat you in the relay}( }( LOL!

Tess- I looked at the same outfit, even put it into my shopping cart, but couldn't do it:p

Jennifer-if I was going to be on a plane for 13 hours I would have to look into some prescription drugs!

Randi- have a good day at work!

My flight up there is 2 hours...I am going from Raleigh to Atlanta, then Atlanta to Philly. I am praying for no delays!

Michelle

Um yeah I'm another one raising my hand here for all black workout outfits. Can't seem to make myself buy anything else. :)

Vicki~ My BF is from Abruzzi (Teramo)..He came over when he was 20 years old! My GreatGrandmother was from Rome, so Needless to say my Grandmom and him have a blast together .. :)

I'm with all of you, the Workout Clothes are Beautiful, but I can't see myself spending more than $20-$30 dollars for a set...:) I love Target and/or Dick's Sporting Good's!! :)

Michele - I absolutely HATE flying! But to get to Cathe's RT it will definitely be worth the stressed out feelings I will get when I have to take two flights to get there. My real fear is my flight may be cancelled from Grand Rapids, MI to Detroit. I booked a Northwest flight and they have been getting really bad press on cancelling flights to Detroit. I guess I could drive to Detroit which is a bout a 3 hour drive. I fly out of Detroit at 10AM.

The problem with that is my husband and seven of my children will be going to Canada on Friday later in the day and they will have to go through Detroit and there is only room for 8 in our Suburban, plus that would be much too early for them to go.

Is anyone else flying Northwest?

I am so hyped about meeting everyone and Cathe and her crew. We have only 14 days. YOO-HOO!

Cheryl

Hi~ :)

I wanted to get an idea as to what everyone is going to wear on Saturday night?
I was thinking Target -or- Old Navy to p/u a decent pair of Cargo Pants/capri's?

Thanks Tess!!

This may be a stupid question, but are we allowed flip-flops Saturday Night? Probably not, but I live in these things :)

I think nowadays flip-flops are almost the same as wearing any sandal. And... if they have rhinestones or something fancy on them it's almost like evening wear. ( I am known as the shoe queen around here so I know about these things. LOL) So, I say, go for it Jennifer!!!

Hi RT Galpals!!!! You know it's getting close when we start seriously talking about clothes;-) :7    At least I won't be all in black for my workouts..... I also have some grey ones!;-)
I was between worknights yesterday but managed to get in LIC yesterday, always a good bet for a good sweat! After work this morning I headed out for my favorite trail and got in 5 miles.
Later today it'll be IMAX1!!

Michelle- You'll breeze right through a 2 hr flight. You'll be so consumed with excitement for the trip you'll be there before you know it. We poor West Coast Catheites are facing 4+ hr flights!
However, it's not the flying that bothers me... it's the @#$%^&**
airports!! Congrats on having now DOMS w/ BG--- time for a new challenge}(

Jennifer- Have fun with the clothes shopping! I used to love Karen Voight but don't do her much at all anymore with the exception of her Great Weighted Workout... that one is a timeless classic IMO.

Tess- Did you work out today or are you still in the semi slacker category?;-) ----MM makes me sore too!

Vickie- I've been curious about this marathon relay myself, especially since I'm such a nut about running this really peeked my interest. From what I gather it is pretty noncompetitive and just for fun.... should be interesting!!! Hey, when it comes to clothes shopping, as much as I love the clothes I see on these websites, it's Target for me too. The only thing I don't ever try to buy cheap is running shoes.

Randi- Hope your work day goes well!

Cheryl- I don't blame you for being a bit anxious about connecting flights. But the odds really are in your favor tremendously that all will go well!!!

Time to get on with the day.... two weeks and counting!!!!!

ShellyC

I am right there with Tess--I'm wearing blue jean capri's with a cute little t-shirt. I think the belt and sandals that I am pairing them with will dress it up a little...if it isn't dressy enough you all can just leave me in the car:p ;-)

Michele

Hello everyone.

Today was LoMax plus Blasts. I had a busy day with another gown fitting, work, hair, and other last minute errands. I still need to buy several things for the RT, but that will have to come later. I can't believe I leave Sunday. Once I leave the beach it is straight to Chicago then on to the RT, so I have to pack for 3 trips between now and Sat night!! How will I ever do this?? I am NOT a light packer. I can't even imagine packing EVERYTHING I need in my carry-on for the RT!! Nope...I will have multiple bags:)

Michelle...I know what you mean about flying!! Even though it has only been 2 years since I have flown, I am so nervous!! I have only used anti-anxiety medication one time (the first time I flew), but it never gets easier (for me)!! At least I will be flying from the beach to Chicago with my mother. After that, I am on my own!!!

Michelle...We are still deciding on honeymoon locations. Italy has been high on the list!! I have heard Italy is beautiful!!

Tess...I think the Kickbox workout clothes are my favorite too. I really want to order, but we will see. I love to buy workout clothes, but when you primarily work out from home, it is hard to spend that much money!!

Vicki...Yes, I will plan to bring lots of pictures!! I am with you on the black workout clothes. Most of mine are black, or something in the black family. I think I lean toward that color b/c it doesn't show my sweat as much as other colors!! Whew...I feel for the person next to me on the RT!! Maybe I should try a head/sweat band--I have never tried that b/f. I just keep my towel handy :) Okay---I just read your other posts Michelle and Tess...Maybe we can advance in this marathon activity b/c we will be incognito in our black clothes!!

Cheryl...I agree--Cathe is worth the stress of the flight!!! I wish you luck on arriving on time!!

Jennifer..I am wondering the same thing. Not sure what to wear on Friday or Saturday yet. I guess I am stuck with whatever I pack tonight and tomorrow. I hope it works!!

Shelly...If this marathon really was competitive, I would put money on you winnig!!!

Have a great weekend!!! I will try to post tomorrow. We will be in the car ALL DAY Sunday. I will try to post during the week, but I can't promise that I will be able to after "THE BIG DAY" on Saturday the 4th (which is also my birthday)!!! Good night.
