Rounded Belly's Check in June 21st

Susan, you're going to love your elliptical!!! I'd be really scared about putting the thing together. That's why I wanted to by refurbished (or 2nd hand),...I get so darn frustrated when I try to put stuff together.

Well, I must have angels singing over me last night,.....b/c this AM i feel great! I'm eating Life cereal and drinking a Coca Cola,....but I feel real good. :) Don't think I"m going to need those i.v.'s afterall. :D :D I switched shifts with the gal at work, so I work tomorrow instead of today. I should feel great tomorrow.

Jen, I think you and I have abou the same pre-pregnancy shape. 130 is great for me, but 135 is comfortable. I won't tell you what I am right now. I think our Susan is a petite girl. How tall are you again, Susan? She's so darn cute, isn't she?!?!?

How are all the rest of you mommy's doing? Christine, you keeping up with your house chores? I coudn't wait to move out of our house when it was on the market. It was impossible to look like a museum with 3 kids. Then we started moving (boxes all over the place) and perspective buyers had the nerve to make comments such as "the house looked cluttered". Really?!??! Why do you think that our family of 5 was moving out of a 1200 sq foot house?!?!? URGH! I do NOT want to re-live those months. I'm sending quick house selling vibes your way, girlie!!!!

Waves to all you beautifully, rounded belly women!!!

Hey
MM done! Im enjoyig my Kashi and strawberries. I think today may be a hungry day!

Melanie-SO happy you are feeling better....glad you have the day off to re-coop!! Yes, I am a shortie at 5'1". 115 is my perfect weight..so when I see it creeping to 130 it does kinda scare me! I think I weighed 139 when I went in to have Hlaey and was 118 when I got home.

Why you lost alot of weight quickly last time, Susan!! I don't know if I told you ladies or not,.....but after I had my last baby,........I didn't lose ONE pound in the hospital. I couldn't believe it. How does a woman have a baby and not lose ONE pound? I was very pissed.

I have no clue how I lost so much....maybe beginners luck! I didnt put on much bodyfat with Haley at all...it was all baby. I have this time though. Oh well..who cares, right. We'll work it off!

I like your attitude, Susan! We're all in this together!!! We will have it ALL!!!! Babies & tight, beautiful sexy bodies! :D :D We are woman, hear us RRRROOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR!!!!! :D :D

Whoa ladies! Slow down! LOL

Melanie- I am 5'7" so 130 is on the thin side for me. I am very comfortable at 135 especially when I am working out and all nice and lean.

Hi Susan!

Melanie and others,

Glad you are feeling better. Dehydration sounds awful. I'm still struggling a bit with low-blood sugar, but I have high-protein snacks ready to go in the work fridge (I saw Eggland's Best hard-boiled eggs ready to buy at the supermarket and bought a dozen; I'll have to tell Cathe that she swayed me. :) ). Anyway, I find a hard-boiled egg between small meals is doing just the trick for me.

And thanks everyone for the reminder that we will all get back to our ideal weights after this. I'm not going to say what my weight was yesterday (up 30 lbs at 6.5 months :-( ), but I was told the next OB visits will be 2 weeks apart and I should start rotating doctors in case my preferred doctor is not on call when the day comes. We're getting there!

I tend to wake up about 2 am every morning without fail. Once I use the facilities, I have such a hard time going back to sleep. But things could be worse. And it sounds like I'm in good company. :)

I did LIS today and Step Heat (minus the abs and without the jumps) yesterday. It feels so good to exercise again. I wish I had tried a little harder in my first trimester; that's when I was feeling a bit emotional and overeating, I think. Oh well. Off to a Baltimore Orioles baseball game tonight--I'm already thinking about the boardwalk fries and BBQ roast beef awaiting me for dinner. Yum. What I have to keep repeating is . . . I don't need to eat the whole thing. . . . I don't need to eat the whole thing . . . :)

Have a great weekend!!
Dawn

Dawn-we're here for ya with all the support you need! THe good thing about gained weight is that it can be lost! There ya go..not a problem! Have fun at the game!! bbq roast sounds devine! Glad the eggs are helping! Haveing low b/s is a miserable feeling. I have had many bouts with it over the years.

Melanie-glad you are feeling good. Have fun!!
HI ya Jen

Dawn, I was going to say something earlier,...but spaced it. Anywho,...if you're suffering from low sugars,...you need to make sure you eat some carbs with your protein. Egg is good, but how about some fruit with it? or orange juice/apple juice. You'll need the carbs to get your sugars up. Simple carbs (juice/fruit) will boast your energy quicker,...while complex carbs will help with your sugars longer,...and protein will subside hunger pains.

Well, I'm headed to the beach!

Melanie-sounds like a great day!!! Glad you are feeling better. Have you been feeling the babies much?

Haley and dh are swimming and Im printing off math sheets for Haley to reveiw this summer. We are having homemade pizza tonight. I am making mine on a ww pita...yum.
I have been HAVING to have baby carrots and ranch dressing every afternoon this week. What baby wants, baby gets lol.

Susan, I LOVE PIZZA!!! Yummm!!!

Haven't had any braxton hicks contractions past two days. Just very tired, but think that will be the rhythm of my life for the next year or so. LOL

Thanks for the encouragment, Susan! :p I've already decideded, that these are going to be the best behaved, most well-mannered children that ever lived. lol BTW,...maternal instinct,...they're twin boys. :D Yup, I'm going to have FIVE boys, just know it. lol

Melanie- Hope you have a good day at work!

Susan- I love ranch dressing! Still not a whole lot of cravings here. Maybe because I eat anything I want anyway. ;)
